Kai’s P.O.V

Finally found her, “my mate” who had gone right after we made love, because i couldn’t find her when i woke up in the morning.

I searched everywhere for this mysterious woman, but couldn’t find her.

I was attracted to Rosie when i first saw her, the mate bond kicking in, but she looked like someone going through a lot. All i just wanted was for us to talk at the VIP lounge, but she seem to have something else in mind. I couldn’t reject her, if she want it, i will give it to her. Since its what i want also.

Called out to “Rowen” my best friend who is also my personal bodyguard.

“Rowen, find that girl now”

Rowen look lost and confused, what girl kai?

Rosie, i met her last night at the bar with her friends,remember?

We were just here last night, and this morning i couldn’t find her.

Kai, relax, she left on her own. I saw her walked out of this room last night. Rowen said which i was immediately furious

You fool! Why didn’t you stop her? You shouldn’t have allowed her leave like that. What were you thinking?

Why are you so worked up kai, whatever happened between you two was just a one night stand, nothing more. One night stand you say Rowen, are you serious? When have i had one? Would you please use your head.

Calm down kai, I’m sure she has her reason for leaving, reason only known to her.

Do you think its the right time to look for her? Kai, do not put her in trouble, you will be only risking her life by looking for her. And after looking for her what next? Be with her? you will only have her killed.

I calm for a while, sitting on the bed, with my bare body visible and with just a trouser on.

Rowen is right, i can’t afford to put her life at risk.

“The Dark wand pack” are looking for me, they want to have me killed by all mean, and “Emily” who’s my betrothed can also kill her if she finds out she’s my mate.

Emily and i were betrothed by our parents, my father is indebted to her father, so both parents decided to get their children marry each other. We never had any relationship whatsoever, not even once did we talk for long, but she made me understand that she will kill anyone who dares to take me from her.

She’s powerful, she’s the queen of vampire. I won’t let her hurt Rosie.

I looked at Rowen, “you’re right Rowen, i shouldn’t look for her” that will only put her life in danger.

Tell me, what do you found about the “The Dark wand pack?” I asked Rowen.

The son of the Alpha came here last night, “Dan Sullivan” and i guess he heard you are here too, because him and his right man were looking for you.

Hmm… Dan Sullivan, have been curious about that man, who he is, and how he look. I guess its not time for us to meet yet, when the time comes, i will make sure i get back at him for what he did to my pack.

Looking for my shirt, i looked around and couldn’t find it. “Rowen i can’t find my shirt”.

I will always ask Rowen for everything and anything i can’t find even though he isn’t there where i used it.

The lady last night wore it when she left. I guess you did something to her clothes last night. Giving me a wicked smile.

Its not funny Rowen, stop laughing. Go get me another shirt, i said. He left immediately and went out.

Didn’t come here for “The Dark wand pack” i’m here for “The Golden circle pack” which is ruled by Alpha Alan. But i couldn’t find them till now.

I sent my minion to retrieve what i needed form Alpha Alan but they never came back. The golden circle pack is a small pack, they couldn’t have defeated my minion, which means another pack is helping them. Couldn’t think of any other pack except “The Dark wand pack”

The sacred book is crucial to my people and it can help the masses in a lots of ways . My father also, have been looking for it before he was mercilessly killed by the Dark wand pack.

Still can’t seem to forget Rosie, who is she and the kind of person she is. Its just a one night stand, and i can’t seem to get her out of my mind. Her scent, her smooth soft body that caress my body and her soft lips. Her small tiny breast, firm and so soft to touch.

Probably its because of the mate bond, but i feel so attracted to her and what we had is something have been wanting to have with my mate.

I will look for her, definitely, no matter how long, but not now.

Rowen and i left the lounge and continue our search for “The golden circle pack”

One of the guards who went to look for the golden circle pack came back, just after we got out of the club.

“ I found the hideout of the golden circle pack” but its empty. He said looking down, showing me a respect.

Rowen quickly cuts in, are you sure its empty?

Yes sir, i am. Not even a single soul is left there.

Let’s not stop there, lets continue searching.

I guess they got another hideout. But i don’t think they know we are looking for them, do they? I asked Rowen.

We got another information from another guard who joined us while thinking about what else and where to find Alpha Alan.

“Sir, we got a message from Joan”.

Joan? I think i’m familiar with that name but can’t remember where i heard it from.

Rowen, who’s Joan that this guard mentioned? I asked.

Joan is our spy in the Dark wand pack.

You planted a spy in the Dark wand pack? That would get her killed if she’s discovered.

She’s a smart woman kai, you don’t have to worry. She will be fine.

No Rowen, that seem like a bad idea to me, i don’t want to have any of my people killed. Especially not from those ruthless pack who had no sympathy.

Rowen, i want that woman out of that pack, let her come back home.

Kai, you worry too much, that’s why i never wanted to tell you. You care for people too much. Relax okay, this is for our people benefit.

Rowen said, and we all left the front club and continue our journey.
