Chapter Fifty-one
***Val's POV*** We arrived with Alex at the site, and as we walked in, saw that most of the people that were showing up, looked pretty happy, which was always a good thing in my mindset, and Alex led us to a meeting room where two ladies were waiting. As the introductions were done, the one called Stone looked a little on edge, even though Alex had not mentioned really who we were to the company. Alex on the other hand was sending a message on his phone, and shortly after that I spotted Damian and Nicole walking past one of the windows in the room, Nicole walking with a cane, continued past while shortly after that, Damian entered the room with us. "It's a pleasure to see you again, I'm sorry to hear that there were some issues that prevented you from being here yesterday."
