Trish and I headed towards the door to leave. I was done with my conversation even though I was ready to rip his ass into a new one, he wasn’t worth my time at the moment. I had a coronation to prepare for, I needed to find a dress and prepare myself to finally meet my people. I couldn’t bring myself to call them subjects because to me they are my people.
“Ruby, wait.” I heard Karson say. I turned to face him, annoyance written all over my face.
“What?” I snapped, looking at him with anger and pain in my eyes.
