5. I warned you

Evening, after the detention, when we walked out of the library, Aaron finally asked me the question which I had been expecting from him since yesterday. "Carrie, will you do me a favour? Will you ask Ty to let me talk to him. I just need five minutes." "I don't think he'll listen to me, Aaron. And I haven't even told him I talked to you although he probably found out by now." "He'll listen to you. Help me, please," he begged. "I'll try. But I don't think I'll be able to convince him to talk to you anytime soon. It'll take time." "It's okay. I'm ready to wait," he said. "Yeah, here, your lab notes," I fished the paper out of my pocket and stretched it to him. "Why you needed this?" he asked me, taking it from my hands with a frown. "To copy it. You were the one who did the whole thing today. I'll learn and help you next time," I said and smiled innocently. "It's okay. No problem," he smiled without realizing my evil intentions. As soon as Aaron said 'bye' and walked away, I rushed in direction of the basketball court. Yesterday I waited about 10 minutes in the parking for Ty. So their practice probably hasn't ended yet. And I don't want it to end soon. I ran to reach the basketball court faster. I was relieved on seeing the basketballers still practicing when I reached there. Ty saw me and I flashed a smile in his direction before going and sitting on the sidestep. Strangely, Ty didn't smile back at me. I think I know the reason. Probably Mia or Brent told him about me being Aaron's lab partner or Asher told him about his encounter with us during the lunch break. Maybe both. I averted my eyes to the jerk. He was running, aiming the hoop, tossing the ball on the floor. I waited patiently for about five minutes until Asher clapped his hands and announced the end of practice. Then the players started walking towards the side benches and side steps to pick their bags and water bottles. Asher and Ty together walked to a side bench. Shit! They are together. Now how am I gonna do this?' Oh, wait, I didn't really tell explain my plan. Yeah, so apparently I mixed that sodium phosphate powder in my water bottle. Don't worry I'm not going to kill him. I only added a little. And I read enough about sodium phosphate poisoning on google last hour. Now the problem is, how to make Asher drink from my bottle. I fished out my bottle from my bag and walked in direction of them. I saw Asher picking a bottle that was sitting on the bench before opening its cap and stretching it to Ty. That isn't Ty's bottle. So it's Asher's and he just gave it to Ty. Okay, now I know what to do. I quickly rushed to them and grabbed the bottle from Ty's hands. Both Ty and Asher frowned at me. "You don't need to drink from his bottle. Drink this," I said stretching my bottle to Ty. I know this is a risky move but I'm sure Ty isn't gonna take my bottle. He is mad at me right now. As I expected, he rolled his eyes at me. "What happens if I drink from Asher's bottle?" he asked. "Ty, don't trust him. He's a bastard. He's the one who got me detention," I sneered glaring at Asher. I don't have much hope this plan would work. Maybe this would terribly fail. But let's try our best. "Yeah, he told me. Also, he told me one more thing. That you are now friends with Aaron. Give me the bottle," he scoffed. "No, you aren't drinking this," I said and held the bottle upside down. "Caroline!" he screamed as the water exited the mouth of the bottle in a moment and hit the floor with a splash. "Now drink this," I said stretching our sulfur phosphate poisoned water in his direction, praying he won't take it. He didn't take it, just like I guessed. He unzipped his bag and produced a half-filled water bottle from it. He opened the cap and started sipping on it while I glared hard at him. I then heard someone chuckle. It was none else than Asher. "Don't be so immature Caroline," he said and grabbed the bottle from my hands. I had to fight myself to control a smirk. Things are going smoothly. "I'm your brother's friend. Not enemy. Don't be scared I'll mix some drugs in water and give it to him," Asher said opening the cap of my bottle. "Don't drink from my bottle! Give it back!" I scoffed. Asher chuckled and reached it once again to his mouth. I waited anxiously for him to drink. Yeah! Yes! He drank it! Yes! He is drinking! Hahaha b***h, I just successfully tricked you. Yes! Keep on drinking. But don't blame me if you can't get out of the toilet. I had warned you. "How dare you drink from my bottle?".I shouted once he stopped drinking and started closing the bottle with its cap. He had drank more than half of the water. "Shh..Carrie! Quiet!" Ty scolded me. "Look Caroline, I'm sorry. I mean it. I'm really sorry for yesterday," Asher said stretching my water bottle back to me. But looking at his face I could see he was not at all sorry. "Ty, see! He got me detention and earlier he told me I deserved it. Now look how he is acting in front of you. And do you know what all lies he said to the principal yesterday? Now how dare he tell me sorry and drink from my bottle? He is a jerk! Why can't you understand?" I asked bringing a hurt look on my face. "Ty, I'm so disappointed. Moreover upset with you. I didn't think you would choose this jerk over me," I said and turned around grabbing my water bottle from Asher. Then I briskly walked away. Everything I just told Ty is true. I'm disappointed in him for being friends with this Jerk and I'm a bit upset Ty actually believed whatever lies Asher told him to clear his side. He might have made a whole different story about yesterday's incident. I can't blame Ty. Asher is such a smart devil who knows how to manipulate things in his favor. Anyway, I'm also happy that I was able to easily execute my plan. Asher will face quite a big trouble today. However, this isn't the end. I'm not done yet. This is only the beginning. "Carrie wait!" I heard Ty yell behind me. "Carrie..please..I'm sorry! I'll drink your water. Wait!" I quickly opened the cap of my bottle and held it upside down, emptying the rest of the poisonous water. "Ahh..Carrie! why are you being like this? Didn't I say sorry?" he groaned while I grinned to myself and continued walking, pretending angry. I didn't talk to him anything during our car ride home. When we reached home, I shut the car door behind harshly and walked toward the front door. But I stopped there at the doors as neither of Ty's parents had arrived back from work and I didn't have the key to the house. "Carrie, are you still mad at me?" Ty asked hopping out of the driver's seat, leaving a sigh. I crossed my arms across my chest and waited for him to come and open the door so that I can finally get inside, go to my room and hack Asher's FF. Ty came behind me and embraced me in a back hug, placing his chin on my shoulder. "I'm sorry," he whispered. "Can you now open the door ?" I asked coldly. "Uhmm..yeah," he nodded taking his hands off of me and fumbling with the house key. He jammed it into the hole and twisted it. I pushed open the door and quickly rushed upstairs while he yelled at me to wait. I barged into my room and locked the door. I threw my bag on the floor and went to my laptop. I opened it and sat down on the chair in front, waiting for it to boot. Then I heard a knock on my door. "Carrie, open the door. Why did you become friends with him? That's why I got angry." "I'm not friends with him. I just share five classes with him. Also detention. So we just happened to talk a little," I yelled back typing the password of my laptop and unlocking it, quickly going to my files. "Oh! Five classes?? That's a lot. So you are not actually friends with him?" Ty asked. "No. And I don't know what Asher told you. But I'm pretty sure he told you a lot of lies. And you believe him. So just leave me alone," I shouted. "C'mon..open the door. What are you doing inside there?" "I'm playing video game. Don't disturb me for ten minutes," I yelled. "Okay let's play together." "No! I'm playing alone." "Hmm..okay, do you want coffee?" "No!" "Oh..C'mon.." "Just leave me alone for some time Tyler!" I heard Ty sigh and then walk away from the door. I left a sigh and went to my work. I had installed a keylogger into Asher's phone yesterday through the link I send him. Keylogger is basically a malware program designed to record everything you type on your keyboard. So I can find out his social media passwords, email passwords, credit card data, and basically everything he has on his phone. But now I'm just gonna concentrate on his FeatureFolio. I would only give him what he deserves for what he did. Not gonna hack his bank account or anything. Asher's FF account has 19.8K followers. So if he posts something, a lot of people will see it. Gosh! I can actually do a lot of harm to him if I want. Right now the evil inside me is dancing. Poor Asher! He messed up with the wrong person. I went to the keylogger and found it had tracked and recorded a lot of keystrokes from Asher's phone and send the data back to me. So I got all the passwords on his phone. Now I just need to decode them and try them one by one. I decoded the passwords and couldn't help but crack up at them. His five passwords I got were 'iamnotforgetful', 'retrac003, ' 'eatsleepworkinfires' 'trustno1' and '069690' Anyway, I quickly went to his FF, typed his username, and then started trying the passwords one by one. And it was 'trustno1' his FeatureFolio password. But then that security verification via email popped on the screen. So bad. Now I need to hack his email too. I quickly went back, got his account 'ashercarterstark@expensive.com' from the keystrokes, and then tried logging in with the passwords. 'eatsleepworkinfires' was the password. I logged in within a minute and then verified the new device login, then deleted the mail. Hope Asher hasn't seen the mail yet. No way, he won't see it in such a short while. Everything's safe. So finally I logged into his FeatureFolio account! It wasn't much trouble. Asher had a lot of unread messages on his chats. But I didn't dare open any of them. I don't want him to find out someone has hacked his account. And anyway I'm not interested in reading his chats. First I need to thoroughly plan what to do to take my revenge on him and then execute it safely and delete his account. I'm not going to do anything in a hurry and mess everything up. Also, I already troubled him today. So this is not for today. Let me wait and study him a little more before deciding on his punishment. Suddenly a knock hit my door. "Carrie, I made you coffee. Open the door," Ty said in his soft yet deep voice from the other side. I smiled and shut down my computer before standing up from the chair and walking to the door. I opened the door to reveal Ty standing in front of me with his dimpled smile, carrying two cups of coffee and cupcakes on a tray. I smiled back fondly and moved away from the door to let him in. I took a coffee and cupcake from the tray and went to my bed, crawling over the soft mattress. Ty also crawled up beside me after placing the empty tray on the desk near my laptop. "Carrie, will you let me tell you why I got angry at you?" "Okay.." I nodded. "I hate Aaton. I don't want you to be friends with him," he said. "I hate Asher. I don't want you to be friends with him. What about that?" I asked placing the cup on the bedside table and munching on the cupcake. Ty sighed placing his cup and cake down on the table. "Okay, but it's a one-day enmity, right? You met him only yesterday." "Yeah, but he got me one-week detention," I said after swallowing the cake in my mouth. "I know," He nodded. "I believe everything you said. In fact, Asher also said the same story. He didn't tell me any lies. He admitted what he did and he is really sorry for that. He said he just did it for fun. He didn't think it would put you in this much big trouble." "Oh really? Then he will be more sorry soon," I mumbled. "Yeah, he is really sorry. He actually wants to be friends with you. And he asked a lot about you." "Lot about me?? What?" "Nothing. Just about your parents, your previous high school and you know stuff like that." "And you said everything?" I asked. Why the hell does this Asher need to know about me? "I only said good things about you. And Asher thinks you are really smart," Ty said. I sighed. That b***h really knows how to deal with things. "Ty, I'm so upset you took this matter so silly. You didn't even say a word against him." "Of course, I said. I scolded him. I told him, he shouldn't have done that. And he agreed what he did was really wrong. And he apologized. So just forget it, Carrie. Asher is actually a nice guy. He has helped me a lot. It's he who helped me to become what I'm today." "Oh? What's the big help he did? Explain.." I said. "You know, I was not like this. I was a nerd who used to constantly get bullied. But Asher helped me change. I met Asher after I changed school in 7th grade. We shared a lot of classes, that's how we got close..." "Wait! How come? He is now a senior right?" I asked confused. "Yeah..but we were together in 7th grade. He actually skipped 8th grade and directly went to high school. And he is the same age as us, actually one month younger than me," he replied. So he is really smart! And that means he is younger than me since I'm two months older than Ty. And now I understood why they are so close. They might have been inseparable in middle school. "Asher saw me sitting alone in the canteen on my first day and he joined me for lunch," Ty continued. "We became friends and he taught me to play basketball. Then he invited me to join the team. He was the basketball captain. I joined the team and everything changed from then. No one ever bullied me again. I started being admired by others." I just nodded to Ty. Okay, Asher might have helped him but that doesn't justify his attitude to others. "You know Carrie..." Ty continued in his typical convincing tone, "Asher really supported me a lot at a time when I was emotionally and physically very weak. He totally changed me. I was so sad when he suddenly jumped to high school, skipping 8th grade. I joined Harbinger only because he was here. And he is still my best friend and he does a lot of help for me. He is a really nice guy, Carrie. It's just you guys started off on the wrong foot. But you can start again." So, the jerk really likes Ty and he will do anything for him. And Ty has real high esteem for him. "Okay, can you think about starting afresh with Aaron? Then I'll also think about forgetting what Asher did." He frowned at me. "Seriously? Are you telling me to become friends with him again?" "No, I'm just asking you to forgive him. What he did is really wrong. But he is sorry." "Wow! Now you are defending him! And He is sorry? I don't want his sorry!" "Ty, look, it's not like what you think. I talked to him. He saw you as his best friend itself. But his situation was like that. He didn't know what else to do," I said and grabbed his hands. "What situation?" Ty said yanking away my hands and climbing out of the bed. "Ty, listen, he knew you liked him." His mouth closed shut in surprise. He stared at me, wanting me to continue. "He was worried about you confessing to him. He was small then. He was afraid his friends would call you both gay if he continue being your friend." "He knew?" Ty mumbled. "Yeah, he knew. I told you, he probably knows." "And he just let his friends bully me?" "He is sorry for what he did. He told me he was also hurt watching you get bullied. That's why he asked you to change school and get away from his sight. Ty, I know he is genuinely sorry. He meant everything he said. He is honestly guilty and he wants to apologize." "No, I don't think he is really sorry. Even if he is sorry, I don't want to talk to him. He is a jerk" "Jerk is your current best friend," I muttered. "What?" he frowned "Nothing. Anyway, I don't think Aaron is that bad. So, I'm gonna continue talking to him," I said causing his eyebrows to furrow deeper. Looking at his face, I could clearly understand that he was really mad and he wanted to beat me or something. But he only said, "Okay, do anything. But let me warn you, he is a really bad guy. You'd soon realize it and then you'd regret your choice." "Alright, I'll keep it in mind. And I'm also warning you, Asher isn't that much of a good guy. You'll find out soon."
