HIS SECRET LOVER

ANA

Just after finishing her lecture Kia was super ready to leave from college. Due to the absence of two professors, she was done quite earlier. She was making a good plan of how she is going to complete the revision of two subjects as well as practice some questions too and after that, she will be chatting with Sam for a longer time than yesterday.

As soon as she entered her home she was taken aback when her cousin suddenly came in front of her. ANA was Kia’s elder sister who lived in a different city due to her work. Kia was happy to see her but at the same time, she was worried too. Because every time when Ana would come to their house, she would stick to Kia all the time and would bore her with her office stories. As Kia was thinking about all this, Ana spoke up

“Hey Kia, how are you, such a long time. Don’t worry babe this time I am here to celebrate not only my birthday but Christmas too.”

“Hi sis, so glad to see you. Truly missed you. But don’t tell me you took ten-day leaves from the office?”

“Girl it’s been so long that I celebrated my birthday with family, and you know, for me, family comes first then work.”

Kia was smiling and was pretending to admire her sister’s generosity but inside her she knew Ana was lying on her face. Kia was not dumb, she knew in corporate culture some paid holidays are given to employees in winter, but it’s up to them when they want to use those leaves. But why Ana came at this time of year  Kia knew something is fishy.

Kia went into the kitchen to her mother,

 “Ma what’s happening to her, I mean it’s good she has come to meet us, but why isn’t she celebrating her birthday with aunt.”

“Oh God Kia why are you so lost these days, I told you the day before yesterday that your aunt and uncle and has gone to meet Ana’s maternal grandparents and won’t be back before Christmas.”

 “Okay, but she could have gone to VJ uncle’s home also. She would be greeted by so many people there. And didn’t she know I am busy with college, Joy goes to school too. With whom she is going to spend time.”

It was not that Kia did not like her sister but she has her limits too. She could not be able to tolerate her for TEN DAYS.

“You know she works in MNC, although she is on her holidays but still has loads of her work to do. She knew you are busy so she came here as she would get a peaceful environment in our house. And don’t worry VJ uncle’s family is also coming on her birthday. It would be a great family time.”

“Yeah, mom.”

Kia knew she can’t argue with her mother longer. Kia was soon dragged by Anna to her room where she chatted with her happily for a long time, well actually till midnight. Lying next to Ana, Kia was wondering about her unproductive day, in which instead of having two lectures less, she wasn’t able to complete her study schedule and most importantly couldn’t able to talk to Sam.

While wondering about all this, Kia was totally unaware that someone near her home was getting annoyed because of her. Kia’s phone was flashing again and again with the notification of Sam’s message. But where was Kia, oh she has long gone to her dreamland where she was kissing her prince [quite passionately though]
