Alaric’s POV
As I walk in the opposite direction of the warriors, my eyes dart around the surroundings, searching for any traces of the animals that have fled this way. The tension in the air is palpable, and my heart races with anticipation. Suddenly, a peculiar noise breaks the silence, causing me to halt in my tracks. It's a sound I've never heard before, eerie and unsettling. Despite the unease it brings, my curiosity gets the better of me, compelling me to continue straight ahead.
As I ascend the hill, my breath quickens, and my steps become more determined. The anticipation builds within me, urging me to reach the top and uncover the source of the strange noise. With each stride, my senses heighten, and I brace myself for whatever awaits me.
