Skyler’s POV
As I wake up, I feel a significant improvement in my mood compared to earlier this morning. However, I notice that the sky is getting darker. I rub my eyes and glance at my clock, realizing that I need to prepare for the pack run and party. Despite feeling a sense of reluctance, I snuggle deeper into my blankets, not wanting to leave my bed. It's my birthday, and I wish I could just stay in bed or venture off on my own without having to deal with anyone's negativity.
While I lay snugly under my blankets, I suddenly hear a gentle knock on my bedroom door. Curiosity piques my interest, and I cautiously peek out from my cozy cocoon to see my mom and dad entering the room. Their warm smiles instantly brighten up the space, and I can't help but feel a surge of excitement.
