A sensation of excruciating pain courses through my body, jolting me out of my comfortable abode as I detect commotion outside the cave. With trepidation, I cautiously approach the entrance, only to be seized by an indescribable force that surges through me, unleashing my inner wolf and unleashing a howl of agony.
As I gaze outside, the dim light of the setting sun casting an eerie glow on the desolate landscape, my heart skips a beat as I notice Alaric approaching. His determined stride and unwavering gaze tell me that he is ready to make contact with the protective barrier that separates us.
