CHAPTER 26 They arrived in Bradford at three o’clock. “We can catch the bus from here,” said Sara. “I’m so looking forward to seeing Scout again. I know you’ll love him.” “Then we must go and see your mother,” replied Grant. They caught the bus and Sara pointed out all the familiar landmarks. When the bus slowed on a bend Sara rang the bell and jumped up. “Come on, this is our stop.” The bus came to a halt at a shelter which Grant thought seemed miles from anywhere. Sara took his hand. “Come on it’s not far.” They walked a little way along the road to a small turning on the left. It led to a narrow unmade lane.
