CHAPTER 40 The Mercedes came to a halt inside a cavernous warehouse in London’s docklands. As soon as the car was inside, the corrugated roller doors closed shut. In the headlights of the car, Tom, now awake, could make out three men standing on a raised loading platform on the riverside of the warehouse. The chauffeur opened the door and yanked Tom from the car. Tom was surprised by his strength, it was disproportionate to his size.
