She turned to see Tom looking at her, his lips curved up. “You’re starting to understand now, aren’t you? Why I’m here. It’s not as bad as you first thought. Granted, it’s not a typical sandy, touristy beach, but that’s what makes it what it is. It’s got a beauty all its own.” Hearing him speak with such passion about the area she’d dismissed as grim made her heart flutter.
