I flew through the floors as my friends took the long way with Stefanie in Caius’ arms. They reached the attic and found me hovering over the desk. Peter’s papers lay in a clutter over the top. I visually searched through them, but found touching them impossible.
I whipped my head up as my friends rushed up to me. “The spell for the revokat is in here somewhere! I have to reverse that to get back into my body!”
My companions crowded me out as they dove into the search for the document. I floated over to my lifeless form and ghosted my hand over my forehead. Even as a spirit, I felt a coldness that sank into my soul.
“Here!” Gina shouted as she held up the document. She shoved the paper into Judith’s hands. “You’re the best exorsage here.”
