"More or....or less," Claire said glitches,
Eurus looks back at his aunt, he sees how exhausted she is,
The darkness under her eyes, her hair greased from the lack of showering, staying up working for the future, he sighed seeing his aunt like this... He never likes it he wants her to have a bountiful and prosperous life, but if this is what she wants to do. Then who is he thinking he knows better than her?
"How long was she up for?" Eurus asked
"For thirty hours trying to fix it, "Claire said,
Claire stares at Judy sleeping softly,
"Ok, let's get her to bed. Good night, Claire," Eurus said,
He picked up Judy and walked to the door,
"Good night, little Eurus," Claire said, shutting off,
"Auntie!" Eurus yelled,
Eurus walked to her office with her food in his hands, Judy opened her door for him and he set it on her desk, Eurus looked where Claire's old mainframe was, He saw wires all around a plastic model with electronics coming out of it, he walked over to the model to see it better, he noticed that it wasn't plastic but a very light metal that has not been known, he reached up to touch the face of the model before he could model face light up, he jumped away from shock, Judy chuckles from behind him,
"That's Claire's new body," Judy said
Eurus's eyes light up.
"Nice to see you a.. again, little Eurus," Claire said
"Nice to see you too. I didn't think it would be like this Auntie, why did you build her a body? I thought you were going to make her new hologram system," Eurus asked,
Judy stops eating to answer his question,
"I figure it will be safer to make her a robotic body that has a better chance to survive a hack and deletion,"
"What do you mean by deletion?" Eurus said worriedly,
Judy stayed quiet,
"Misstress tell him," Claire said softly
Judy sighed.
"That AI could have deleted all of her storage. Memory files, ... He could have had classified documents, he could. No, it could have destroyed what I have created, my friend. As you can see, I'm still a little sore from what happened," Judy said
Eurus stayed quiet and looked at his aunt, noticing how overwhelmed she was, he sighed, walking over to her and pulling her out of the chair,
"What are you?" Judy said
She is pulled into a hug, Eurus holds her tightly, not letting her go, and slowly she hugs him back,
"I see how much you work. How stressed you are. How you take all that burden and push through it, I always feel guilty for just standing there doing nothing.. Just know that I'm always proud of you and what you do for me," Eurus let out,
He felt as if a large weight had been lifted off his subcontinents, for the moment it felt like there was nothing to hurt him, but the pressure of having that mentality was gone. Gone.
"Honey, don't you ever feel guilty for being there for me, I... I don't know what I would have done without you here, I believe I would have gone nuts without you... When your uncle died, I felt empty. So empty, I didn't want to get out of bed, and take a shower, then your parents died in a fire in a lab, and all you had was me to take care of you, and you the same with me. You are always there for me. I love you, don't you forget that," Judy said, pulling back from the hug and cradling his face,
Eurus puts his forehead on hers. They stayed there for a moment before they heard a celebration notification come from Claire, Judy turned to her,
"Nice one, Claire," Judy said,
She walked back to her chair,
"I thought it was a good moment for that," Claire said,
She smiles at Eurus, who is giggling at this,
"Nice one, Claire. I'm glad I enlightened you on the amazing world of memes," Eurus said
"Good lord, that's why most of the time I got the response of you got it, my dude," Judy said, frustrated,
Eurus just busted with laughter, and Claire nodded at her, Judy put her head in her hands,
"Shai!" Judy yelled, walking into the library,
Judy looks around trying to find her, she's been noticing Shai more in the library today like it's her safe place from the storm that is life, Judy turns the corner where Shai sits to not see her there,
"Where did you," Judy said
"I'm over here!" Shai yelled
Judy looks to where she hears her and finds her in the mythology section with a multitude of books on the ground, and her in a chair in between it all, Shai looks up from her book and smiles at her,
"Hey, I was just reading some Celtic mythology," Shai said,
She placed the book down,
"I needed to talk with you about this," Judy said,
Judy pulls up the video of when she went through the wall,
Shai sighed, knowing he was coming. She just didn't want to deal with it yet,
"I... What do you want to know?" Shai asked skeptically,
Judy asked for her to wait a moment and then walked away to get a chair, Shai went back to her book and felt a familiar ambiance around her,
"Shai"
Shai kept her mind on the book but still felt unease with the figure that was lurking behind her,
"You can not pretend that I don't exist."
Shai kept reading the book until she felt a sharp pain in her head. She dropped the book, holding her head, hoping that the pain would stop,
"You can't block me out,"
Shai sighed, picked up her book, and stood to look at the figure. But it wasn't there. She started to think it was all in her head, but no. It went through the wall... Right? It went with her through the wood. It talked to her. She felt a hand on her shoulder,
"Shai dear, are you alright?" Judy said
Shai turns to her and stares at her, before looking behind her to see the figure behind her, Shai's eyes widen then moves in front of the figure and moves Judy away from her, Shai stands looking at the figure, Shai felt electricity on her hand. This kept her gaze on the figure, and it turned to her before disappearing from her eyes, Shai backed away and Judy who was standing up, looked where the figure was in shock, Judy turned Shai around to see if she was hurt and found that she is fine,
"Good, you're ok. That was the figure from the video, wasn't it?" Judy asked curiously,
Shai stayed quiet for a moment. Before answering her question,
"Yes, it is. To be honest, I don't know what it is... It just sent me here for some weird reason," Shai said spaced out,
Judy pats her shoulder, trying to get through to her, Shai looks back at her,
"Sorry. I... I.. Need to sit down," Shai said
Judy helps her sit down, then sets her chair in front of hers,
"Wait a moment," Judy said,
She pulled her chair and sat in front of her,
"Shai?" Judy said
Shai felt dizzy but stared at her and smiled,
"Sorry after something like that happens, I feel dizzy or something of that sort, so what do you want to know?" Shai said,
Shai is trying to ignore what happened,
"Yes, what was your first encounter with that?" Judy asked
Shai sighed,
"It was at my new job. Its gaze followed me around the cafe. then when I came home... Was it destroyed by it? Or something else. It beats me, but I grabbed a broken table leg and went into my room to find a portal it was blue and gold, and it was quite pretty, it sucked me into it, then I woke up in your lab that's all I can remember," Shai said
Judy stayed there thinking of theories of how she could have gotten here through that portal. She stared off into the distance,
"That's... What?" Judy said flabbergasted,
"Yeah, I thought the same thing," Shai said, chuckling afterward,
"What is it?" Judy asked
"I don't know what it is. I thought I might have some ideas from history books, but I found nothing, I went looking through the folklore," Shai said
Judy leans forward, intrigued by what she has to say,
"I found nothing again to the dead-end to a dead-end. There is nothing. I lost some hope, but I'm just going to keep looking until I find an answer," Shai said smiling at her,
Judy was shocked by her upbeat and liveliness, She's different from most people. Some just give all their right to someone else... but her no. She won't let that happen, Shai holds on to that old way of thinking, not giving up,
"Shai dear, I don't know what it is, but I... I will help you as much as I can," Judy said softly,
Shai stood and pulled her into a hug, Judy smiled, and hugged her back, but the moment was stopped by a loud noise, Judy looked at the entrances of the library hearing Eurus yell for her, Judy moved away from Shai to Eurus,
"If it's not you, it's Shai, if it's not her, it's..." Judy said
"It's Claire," Eurus said
"s**t,"
Judy runs into her office to see the wires short-circuiting,
The plastic on Claire's new body slowly melts, while Claire is wailing in pain, Judy moves around the wires to her and tries to reach her, but Claire stops her,
"D..d...Don't come closer a..at..at this rate I will bure soon," Claire said glitchy,
Judy tries to reach her again but is stopped by Eurus, Claire smiles at them,
"Don't wor... Wo. Worry about me," Claire said
Her face started to distort, her fake nose melted off, and her fake ears were now attached to her legs, half of her face gone on the floor, Her hand reached out to them,
"Don't cry or we..Weep for me. I will be here with you all in your heart and mind..... Little Eurus ta..take care of your auntie for me.. Judy?" Claire said dumbfounded,
She sees colorful electricity run through the room, moving around Judy and Eurus to Claire,
Claire felt a wave of power go into her, she felt the electricity through her fake body, and she felt energy again but it was different from her unique body energy, she felt her body move things, shifting, moving around each other, she opened her eyes to be free, people living in harmony with AI in peace, Governments having peace treaties living in unity no more wars or rumors of war, just... Peace,
Judy looked around alarmed by what was happening,
She looks at Eurus seeing him look at Claire in wonder, stunned even, She touches his shoulder to get him to look at her, which happens when he asks her what to do. But sadly, not even though she knows what to do. They watched as the electricity died down the turned dark, Judy held his hand and told him to stay there as she went to check on Claire,
"Claire?" Judy asked hesitantly,
She walks closer to her, the fog around her dismisses, and Claire shaking gets up, walking towards Judy, who is staring in awe at what happened to her,
"Mistress, what happens?" Claire asked
She had really beautiful white hair with hints of rainbow shining through, her body pearl white with hints of color in detail, and her eyes a deep brown. Eurus walks up to her and touches her arm,
"This is weird,"
