Nia's phone started ringing and then she rolled her eyes and opened her bag. She then brought out her ringing phone from it. She sighed when she saw it was Daniel calling. Without hesitating, she answered the call.
"Why did you call?" She asked immediately she answered it.
"I just wanted to make sure you weren't doing anything crazy. I know you Nia.." He said and she rolled her eyes.
"Shut up! You fool!" She said and hung up.
"Urgh! I feel like punching his face. He should have at least seen the face of that lady.." She sighed and then turned back.
DALTON'S GROUP OF COMPANIES.
RAVEN'S OFFICE.
Alyssa's heart skipped beats as he brought his face more closer that their lips were almost touching and she closed her eyes out of impulse.
Raven almost chuckled seeing her do that. At least he found a way to shut her up. To shut runny mouth up.
He moved his lips to her ears and whispered.
"What were you expecting?"
Alyssa's eyes flew open and she gritted her teeth in anger. She just felt like punching the guy in front of her but she couldn't do so.
He released her and walked back to his seat, then he sat gently on it. He stared at her and picked up a pen using the pen to hit the table at intervals.
Alyssa was already tired of standing. She was about to talk when he suddenly said.
"Hmmn, I'll send Daniel to you in the evening. You will meet up with him, then sign the papers and start working tomorrow.." He said and she smiled and nodded.
"You've just committed an offence.." He said and she furrowed her brows.
"What?!" She exclaimed.
'You don't smile when I don't ask you to..' Raven said and her eyes widened.
'Wait what?" She scoffed.
"You can take your leave now. Make sure to resume at 7am exactly tomorrow. If you fail to do, you will be.. punished.." Raven added with an evil smirk.
Alyssa nodded and was about to walk away but then she stopped and smirked. Then she faced him.
"You shouldn't take time to deliver the documents to me or I might just take the other offer. So be quick about it.." She winked and walked away. Raven's eyes widened and he scoffed.
"Did.." He paused and touched his chest.
"Did she just threaten me?" He asked himself and just then Daniel came in beaming with smiles.
"How did it go? You were having fun with her. Weren't you?" Daniel winked at him and Raven threw him a deadly glare.
"I hate her guts.." Raven mumbled.
"But you don't want her to go to Lucian.." Daniel added and he rolled his eyes.
"The enmity between you and Lucian is alarming. It's like you aren't twin brothers.." Daniel said.
"Daniel.." Raven called in a warning tone and Daniel sighed.
"I'm sorry.."

As soon as Alyssa stepped out of the room, she started having great headache. It just came all of a sudden and she had to visit the restroom in order to cool herself down.
As soon as she got to the restroom, she turned on the tap and then splashed some water on her face, breathing heavily and then she looked up in the mirror.
Her eyes widened when she saw her eyes turn into golden yellow. She looked down as she felt something unusual about her nails and there she saw her nails turn into claws - like an actual animal claw.
Her eyes widened more and she immediately splashed water on her face and looked into the mirror again but this time, her eyes were normal. She looked at her hands and her nails were fine.
"Am I hallucinating?" She asked herself and then she nodded.
"Of course, I am. Cause why would I have claws.." She said to herself and chuckled. She grabbed her bag and then walked out.
When she walked out of the company, she looked around so she could hail a cab but then her jaws dropped when she noticed someone.
It was the guy who almost hit her the other night. He was looking drop dead gorgeous. He was leaning on the door of his car, with a sunglasses on. As soon as he saw her, he gave her a killer smile and her heart almost melted. It was then she noticed that she was not the only one gushing over him too. Other ladies were also doing the same.
Alyssa's mind flashed back to Raven and she immediately shook her head. How could she meet two handsome princes in a day? She doesn't even know who's more handsome. They are both damn hot!
Lucian smiled and then signalled to Alyssa to come. Alyssa pointed at herself and he nodded.
"Wow!" She mouthed and then she looked properly before crossing the road to meet him. When she got to him, she smiled and he removed his sunglasses.
"Hi.." She said.
"Hi beauty, I've been waiting for you.." He said and she furrowed her brows.
"Waiting for me? Why?" She asked.
"I wanted to ask if you were considering my offer.." He said and her heart skipped. She sighed sadly.
"I.." Lucian interrupted her by grabbing her right hand.
"Let's talk somewhere private.." He said and led to the car. He opened the door and she got in. Then he went through the other side and then drove off.
BEST LOVE DISHES RESTAURANT.
"We are here.." Lucian announced and Alyssa looked up and smiled. She had been playing with her fingers ever since she got into the car. Funny enough, she was very shy. Something that had not happened to her before. She didn't want to say a thing that would embarrass her in front of this handsome guy here.
"What's happening to me? Why am I suddenly conscious of myself in front of this guy?" She asked herself.
Lucian looked at her and smiled.
"You should unbuckle your seat belt.." He told her.
"Oh..' She said and immediately tried unbuckling it but her hands failed her.
"Don't worry, I'll help you.." Lucian said with a charming smile and then moved closer to her. His face was almost close to her and her heart started thudding faster.
"Here. Done.." Lucian said after he unbuckled her seatbelt.
They both got down and Alyssa's eyes widened when she saw the restaurant's name.
"BEST LOVE DISHES"
It's one of the popular restaurants in the country. It also has different branches all over the country but this here is the main branch. It's mainly for the sophisticated and rich.
"Do you like it?" He asked and she nodded.
"It's actually mine.." Lucian said and her eyes widened. She turned to look at him.
"What?!" She exclaimed and he chuckled.
"Let's go in.." He said and intertwined their hands. Alyssa felt sparks run all over her system but then her stomach growled ruining the moment.
Alyssa bit her lower lip embarrassed and Lucian chuckled again.
"Let's go eat.." He said and they both walked in.
Lucian took Alyssa to the VIP room where some special people who wanted to relax and to be hidden from the outer world stays.
"Here, sit here.." Lucian said and she nodded with a smile.
"What do you want to eat?" He asked.
"Anything would do.." She replied him. Lucian nodded and walked away while Alyssa looked around clearly having goosebumps being in a place where rich people were.
Soon Lucian returned with a tray of food. He dropped the tray in front of her and took a seat in front of her.
Alyssa gasped when she saw the sumptuous meal in front of her. Pasta with two big fried chickens and then some salad added on it.
"Start eating.." Lucian gestured to her and she took the fork and started chewing on it gently. She moaned in relish when she took a bite.
"Is it good?" He asked and she nodded. She started eating fast and Lucian chuckled, looking at her adorably as she ate.
"You look really cute while eating.." He said and Alyssa almost choked. Lucian immediately brought a glass of water to her and she drank some of it.
After she was done eating. They both sat down to talk.
"So what do you say about my offer?" He asked and she sighed sadly and looked down.
"I already choose to work for Mr Raven.." Alyssa said and Lucian sighed. He was clearly hurt but he decided not to show it.
"You see it's been my dream job. That's why I chose it. I'm so sorry for getting your hopes up and I.."
"It's fine. It's no one's fault. I'm okay with it. I just wanted to help you seeing your aim to work. I'm glad you found a job that suits you perfectly.." Lucian smiled and she looked up with glassy eyes.
"I'm sorry.." She said.
"It's fine but then would you do me a favour?" He asked and she rose her brows.
"Can you be my friend?" He asked and she immediately nodded.
"Of course.." She said and Lucian stretched forth his hand for an handshake.
