I wake up only a couple of seconds later. I'm on the ground, with a lot of people around me, and I don’t even know how I got here.
Arielle is the first one I focus on, she looks worried about me. That’s sweet.
"Alpha Cain, are you okay?" Christian asks, offering a hand to me. I take it and allow him to help me stand up. I'm still disoriented but I nod, "The rogue has been arrested."
"Huh?" I ask, blinking. Then I see the rogue who made me black out being held on the far corner by the two guards with his hands handcuffed behind him.
Milo is staying right next to him, looking ready to follow him through the pits of hell.
"He's fine," Arielle says, looking relieved, "See, everyone? Cain is perfectly fine, he's just too weak to handle a little chocking. So, let Gabriel go now."
