“Ugh my first game is Saturday, and Macie, I’m not ready.” Serena whines. We currently are in our classroom, doing work, because we have a substitute teacher. “Well, you guys will be fine.” I tell her as a matter of fact. “Gosh, I hope so.” She tells me with a sigh. “Hey! No talking!” The sub yells at us. Making some people snicker. Gosh, I hate high school.   ~*~**~~****~*~*~ We currently are sitting at our lunch table, and Charles is with us this time. “Will your team miss you?” Serena asks him. “Not really, they know how much Macie means to me.” He says nonchalantly. “Awh.” Serena says. Making me blush. “Oh hey, Adam.” Charles says once Adam came up to us. “Hey, so I was wondering, can you set me up with Bianca?” He asks Charles while sitting across from him, which is next to Serena. I was watching Serena’s reaction to this. “Yeah sure, I sit next to her in 7th, I’ll bring you up.” He tells him. I then look to see Adam’s reaction now, and he was grinning. “Thanks man.” He says smiling and standing up. “No problem.” Charles just says. After Adam left, I looked back to Serena, and she just became silent. “Serena, you okay?” I ask her. “Fine, just don’t want to talk about it.” Serena sighs. Her head is down and was eating her food that way too. I felt Charles tap my shoulder, making me look at him. “What’s wrong?” He asked me. “She had a crush on him.” I whispered so she wouldn’t hear me. “Oh, I didn’t know.” He whispers back. “It’s fine, she’ll get over it.” I explained. And she will, Serena can get over heartbreak just like that. By next week, she won’t even remember his name. For that, I am proud of my girl. “I can see if anyone from the team will like her.” He tells me. “That’ll be great, especially with homecoming almost a month away.” I explained. “Yeah, I’ll ask around then.” Charles says. “Thank you.” I whispered. “What are you two lovebirds bickering about?” Serena asked us. We both looked at her. “Nothing.” We both say together. Making Serena raise an eyebrow. “Alright.” She chuckles.   ~*~*~*~**~*~*~***~ “Hm, what about Tommy?” Charles asked me, while he was sitting on his bed and looking at his team roster. “Tommy seems like a good guy.” I explained while sitting crossed legged on Charles’ smooth dark brown carpet. Currently painting my toenails, a lavender purple color. Charles’ sister has so much nail polish, it’s crazy. “Yeah okay, he is also a soccer freak too.” Charles explains while taking out his phone. “Well, that’s definitely a plus.” I chuckled still focusing on my nails. “Babe, why are you women obsessed with nails?” He asks me, after sending a message on his phone. “Because my toenails look ugly without being painted.” I say as a matter of fact. Which made him let out a sigh. “I texted Tommy, so we’ll just have to see.” He explains. “Dinner is ready you two.” I hear Charles’ mom shout. Making the two of us get out of his bedroom and go down his stairs. Once we sat down at the table, I was sitting across from Charles and right next to his mama. I grabbed a lot of the food and put it on my plate. It was grilled chicken stuffed with provolone cheese, and asparagus. His mom grilled a whole lot, so I put three on my plate. And then a lot of white rice. I’ll got to eat a lot so I can puke it all out later. Oh, bulimia, you are the greatest thing that ever happened to me. I can feel myself gaining a little bit of weight, so I definitely have to catch up. “Oh my, since you like my cooking so much Macie, I’ll put some leftovers in a container for you to take home.” His mama says with a grin. “Thank you, that sounds good.” I tell her with a smile. “Good, now dig in everyone.” She says with a heartful laugh. We all then obliged. “So, I made the cheer team.” Charles’ little sister tells me with a big ole smile. I smile back at her. “That’s great Shelly, I’m proud of you.” I say. We both then gave each air high fives, because she’s diagonally across from me and sitting next to Charles. “Thank you, Macie.” She explains. “No problem girly.” I tell her. Then continue on eating my dinner. ~*~**~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~ “I’m home, whoever the f**k is in this house!!” I yelled out. Into the oblivion. I sighed and then made my way into the kitchen and grabbed a sharpie and sticky note from one of the many drawers in this damn kitchen. I wrote my name on the sticky note and placed it on the container and the container into the refrigerator. “Was that you that was making all that noise?” Marissa asked me while standing up from the couch. Making herself known. “Yeah it was.” I tell her, while not really looking at her. “Oh, okay, well I’m going out to eat.” She just explains and then walks away. “Thanks for asking if I want to come.” Talking to myself with a sigh. I then walked out of the kitchen and then head upstairs. Once I made it in my bedroom, I closed my door and leaned against it. My parents are at some dinner for my daddy’s work, and Marissa is obviously going out somewhere. But I need to wait until she leaves, then I’ll go to the bathroom to make myself throw up. Just watch, I’ll be prettier than Marissa. After I heard her leave through the front door, I get out of my room and walk inside my bathroom. When I closed my door and locked it, I grabbed the end of my toothbrush and then shoved it down my throat.
