"I am moving to your place? I mean, I'm just surprised it's so soon."
"Yes, I will never leave you out of my sight again." He wrapped his arms around me. "I'll help you pack."
"Okay. Good thing I still have all those boxes here." I said getting off of him and opening my closet. He got up and walked to the dresser.
"I'll pack this stuff up." He opened my underwear drawer before I could interject. "Uhm I don't think that's a good idea." I blushed as he held up a cheeky lace panty in the air. "Mmmh I can't wait to see you in this." He took a deep breath keeping himself calm.
"Yeah." I walked over and took it away from him. "That's exactly why. Do you think you can handle my shirts and dresses? If not I'll put you in charge of my boring socks!" I crossed my arms. Laughing he walked over to the closet.
"Yes. I think I can handle your dresses."
We had packed up everything within two hours. I looked at the boxes and couldn't believe how fast my life changed in the last two weeks.
"I know I ask this a lot but are you okay? I can feel mixed emotions coming from you and I don't know how to place them." He said looking deep into my eyes, wrapping his arms around me. I like it when he does that. An instant feeling of peace and stability came over me.
"I could have never imagined that my life would end up this way. Don't get me wrong, I am beyond happy. It's just so much to take in."
"I understand. I did say we would take it slowly and that didn't work out so well but, just know you can always talk to me." His nose playfully touching mine.
"Yes. I know." I smiled at him. "Now show me that secret elevator of yours." I smirked at him.
"Alright, lets go. We have to be quick so no one sees us." He put his hoodie on and grabbed three boxes stacked on top of each other. I carried one small one.
"Are you sure you have enough boxes? at that rate we won't be done by next week." I said sarcastically. "Come on silly. Follow me." He said like it's no big deal.
I followed him down the hallway towards the fire exit. He pushed the door open to the staircase and then he stopped in front of the mechanical room door. He put the boxes down, punched in a code and held the door open for me. I glared at him surprised it is not a mechanical room. He found this very amusing. We are standing in a small room with only two doors, the one we just walked through and one belonging to the elevator. With the door closing behind us, he removed the hoodie from his head and proceeded to punch another code into the elevator keypad. "It's not fancy. but it keeps people out." He explained. Once inside the elevator there were only two buttons. One for level four and the other for level five. He scanned his finger and pushed number four. "How do we not see these floors on the outside of the building?" I asked him. "The building was designed that way where level four and five are placed exactly on the roof's center of the large structure, so that nobody can see it standing in front of the three stories. You'd have to be flying to see it." I stared at him amazed. The elevator came to a stop and the door opened, revealing a huge living area straight ahead. Floor to ceiling windows overlooking a private roof terrace garden and the pack grounds. It was breathtaking.
"This is not just a little bigger, this is huge!" I blurted out. "Let's put these boxes in our room." He said chuckling. "Our room?" I asked following him to the bedroom.
"Yes, I mean there are three bedrooms. You can have your own if you'd like but there is really no need for that." He said with a grin.
"Oh of course not. Why do you have so many bedrooms?" I wrinkled my eyebrows.
"Well... just in case you know. For when we're having kids." He put the boxes down next to his bed and I stared at him like my eyes were falling out.
"I uh.. I am not ready to have kids." I said taken aback and he laughed at me.
"Don't worry. It will be a while." Taking the small box out of my hands, placing it on top of the others. He pulled me in for a hug and continued
"That chapter, we are really going to take slow. I promise."
"Good." I gave him a peck on the lips. "Let's make something to eat and then add your fingerprint to the entry system. We can get the rest of your stuff tomorrow."
