I lay on the bed waiting for Axel to come back from his office as I didn't want to go and disturb him.
He came back by 6 pm, I turned and stood up.
“Welcome back."
“Thank you pumpkin," he said, smiling.
"How was your day?” I asked.
"Stressful, and fine now because I'm seeing your beautiful face.”
"Stop being cheesy” I said laughing, hitting his arms lightly.
"I'm serious though especially when you smile, I would be right back I need to freshen up," he said and I nodded.
