*Cassandra’s P.O.V.*
I wake up with a start. Confused as all get out I start looking around. “Rogue’s smells our boy they're here to kill him.” Bella stated I grabbed Benny out of bed and mind-linked my pack. “Everyone get to the safe room and do not come out no matter what, Damian come get Benny and take him with you guys and please stay here.” “Yes Alpha” Everyone says in unison. Damian is running down the hall towards me “Alpha is everything okay and where are you going?” “They are here for Benny, and I will fight till I die. But I need you to take care of him for now.” I lean down to a crying Benny. “It’s okay baby, momma will be right back okay. Don’t be afraid my little protector.” I tried to soothe him. “But.. what if you don’t come back, what if I lose you. I can’t lose you, you’re the best thing that has ever happened to me.” I almost start crying with him when I hear a growl. “Go now and take care of my boy.” I say as I am running off. I rush outside and see that they’re everywhere. “What do you want?” I ask coldly. “We want the boy nothing else.” I then growled which made their eyes widen in horror. “You’re not getting the boy unless you go through me.” I say through gritted teeth. “Okay that should be easy.” The leader replies. “I am guessing you don’t know who I am. I am the daughter of Satan and the Moon Goddess, so try me.” They lunge at me but I fly over their heads. “How?” One asks “Tsk tsk shouldn’t have done that.” I reply. I then shift into my wolf as do they. Their wolves back away as I am nearing them. That is until I hear Benny’s scream. “Mommy!!!” I look around until I see a guy that has a knife to Benny’s neck. “Let. Him. Go.” I growled. I had shifted back when I heard Benny’s scream. I then put a protective barrier around Benny and lift him up in the air. You will pay for that. He is my boy and you will never hurt him. Do I make myself clear.” I growled. “Yes, Alpha.” With that I screamed which made all the wolves double over in pain and die of course. The scream had taken all of the energy out of me and I fall over the last thing I see is Benny running to me screaming my name.
*Benny’s P.O.V.*
I looked around but all I saw was wolves, they were attacking. I knew this would happen again, but when I saw her run past me and to my alpha and save him I was in complete shock. She put us all in a protective barrier, she saved us. After the fight was over I ran into her arms, I felt a strange pull to her. She then picked me up and hugged me back. She took me home with her which made me really happy, she treated me like her son. When I woke up the next morning it was because she was running with me in her arms. She passed me to someone else as I was scared she was leaving me. Then I realized, they’re after me again. I have magical power and I am a vampire so that is very rare. She rushes out of the building and I follow far behind. I then didn’t notice that someone had got a hold of me until I felt a blade on my neck and I screamed “Mommy!” She then looked over at me and growled “Let. Him. Go.” She then puts me into another protective barrier and screams. The scream alone kills all the wolves. She is unconscious as the barrier breaks. I run to her screaming “Cassie, mom wake up it’s okay just get up.” I then see a guy running towards me and I get into a fighting stance. “Go away.” I say coldly. “She’s my mate and who are you.” Okay so he is the famous Axel. “Sorry I didn’t know and she’s my mom.” He rushes to mom's side. “I heard she adopted a kid from the vampires coven, nice to meet you.” I just nodded at him. He then picks her up and carries her to the pack, he steps in and takes her to the hospital section. “She might not make it.” were the last words that I heard before I went to our room. “Please don’t take her too, take me instead. Just don’t take her she has everything I have nothing without her.” I pray to no one in particular. It’s all my fault, I have to get out of here.
