Purple Falls

*Axel’s P.O.V.*

When my dad mind-linked me saying she was here I almost had a heart attack. I raced towards the clearing and tackled her into a hug. “Get off of my Alpha.” Who does he think he is? Have I ever met him? “Damian this is my mate Axel.” So she’s and Alpha? For who? My dad and so called Damian left so I can finally talk to my mate. “Our mate” My wolf growled “yeah yeah whatever.” “So, Alpha huh?” I asked “Yeah, I decided to help them out since they had nowhere to go.” She was about to continue when her eyes shows she’s in pain. She shifts and runs into the woods. We are coming up to the waterfall she shifted at when she shifts back into her human form. She rushes over to an unconscious guy lying on the ground. “Will, can you hear me, what happened?” She then puts her hand over his chest as he finally awakens. “Alpha they have the girls.” Will says sadly. I watch as her eyes go black. This can’t be good. “Stay here with everyone else, and Damian get those two home.” she growled. With that she ran off into the woods while me and my dad fight off Damian so we can help her. As soon as I got out of the hold I see two girls flying in a ball. They two guys rush over to their (what I assume to be) mates. “Where is our Alpha?” Damian asks. “She’s fighting the guys but they’re strong and they are slicing her open with knives.” One of the girls answered. Before I could register what I was doing I took off into the woods towards the direction my mate disappeared I then hear her scream. It was the worst sound ever. “I need help, please I need Help” I then hear my mate says. I look over to her unconscious body as I pick her up bridal style and carry her back to the waterfall. Damian then opens up a secret passageway underneath the waterfall. What the crap is this? They lead me into what looks like a freaking underground mansion. After what seemed like forever we finally reach the hospital. I lay her on the bed and watch her sleep. Damian comes in later to explain to me everything I wanted to know. “Her dad took care of a lot of us, but she took over when he died and she continues to grow. We have alliance meetings everyday this week, she is the Alpha of the Purple Falls pack. She has made everyone here feel important, she even built this whole place by herself. She argues saying we helped, but we only gathered the supplies she made this happen. She truly is amazing. I need to head out if you don’t mind I have to get everything ready for this week.” Damian then leaves the room only to be replaced by my dad. “Son, how’s she doing?” he aks. “I guess okay there’s not much I can help with.” “Okay, if you need anything I’ll be in the library.” He then left me there with my mate. I then watch as she opens her eyes and worry fills them. “Girls!” she yells out then suddenly the two girls that were in the ball came into the room. “Oh my gosh Cassie!” The girls rush over and jump onto my mate and hugs her. “Thank you so much, they almost killed our little boys. If it hadn’t been for you we wouldn’t be alive.” They are crying now. “Girls I told y’all when I started all of this that I would do anything to keep you all safe. Now that you’re safe get back on bedrest.” “Yes ma’am” The girls mock solute my mate and Cassandra just throws her shoe at them. “So Alpha what’s on your agenda today?” I ask. “First I need to speak with your dad.” She then gets up and walks through the freaking maze of a mansion and spots the library. “Alpha Luke, may I speak with you?” Sure Cas.. I mean Alpha what do you need.” She then tackles my dad in a hug and starts crying “Luke why didn’t you tell me it was you all along.” What is she talking about. “Baby girl if I told you before you had your memory, you wouldn’t have believed me.” They then hug again and Cassandra then stops crying and kisses my dad on the cheek. What the hell. My wolf then growls at me “You’re dad was responsible to watch over Cas when she was younger. He just now found her again, he was very important to her like a father figure.” I guess that makes sense. “Cas what’s wrong Damian lock the place down!” My father shouts bringing me out of my thoughts. “Cassandra look at me.” She then looks at me and I see three different wolves looking at me. “Luke I need to be under the water.” She demands my father. We then take her to the waterfall and my dad lays her on the ground and she crawls the rest of the way to the water. When she dives under that when I decide to talk to my father. “So how do you two know each other?” “Well her father was my best friend, he always told me to watch over Cassie. So the night that we all thought he died I couldn’t find her. I thought she died with them and something big had ate her or worse. I finally found her a couple of days ago and she didn’t even recognize me. When I heard that she was your mate I had to find out where she was hiding. She was like a daughter to me and she thankfully will always be.” About thirty minutes later Cassandra leaps out of the water in her wolf form. She was massive and she had changed from metallic purple to dark violet. She also had four symbols on her side which consists of the elements.(Water, Earth, Fire, and Air) She also gave of a powerful vibe. Her eyes also shown sadness and guilt. She then shifts back into her human form and falls to her knees. She then looks me in the eyes and I realize I can never expect anything from her because once again she is the unexpected.
