Sacrifice

Candice heard the knock at the door and saw the clock it was 10 pm. She went downstairs and opened the door and got shocked after seeing Glinda standing in front of her, crying.

“Glinda?” – she shockingly said

“What happened? Come inside---” – Candice worriedly asked and took her inside.

They went to the living room and Candice brought water for her.

“Now tell me what happened?” – Candice politely asked

“I’m pregnant” – Glinda said

“What?” – Candice shockingly replied

“Oh my God--- does Clifford know that?” – she asked

“It’s not Clifford” – Glinda replied

“Then?” – Candice looked into her eyes

“Tom---- Oh Glinda!” – Candice sighed in shock and disappointment

“Clifford will kill me --- Candice” – She cried

“Clifford? Are you still worry about Clifford?” – Candice asked

“What about your family, school---- what about Tom?” – she added

“I don’t know Candice--- I don’t know” – Glinda cried

“Let me call Tom” – Candice said and hurriedly dialed Tom

After few minutes, Tom came to Candice’s place and Candice told everything him.

“I should go for abortion” – Glinda said while cleaning the face

“No --- Glinda, you can’t kill the baby” – Candice replied

“Yes--- and I want this baby ----” – Tom added

“It’s impossible” – Glinda said

“Why? Because you don’t love me? you don’t want to spend your life with me? are you afraid of Clifford? Then fine --- I can take care of the baby--- you shouldn’t be worried about that” – Alaric said

“It’s not about that ---- it is something else” – she replied

“Something what?” – Candice asked

“It’s the witches thing ---- the baby will be the curse breaker of hybrids --- no one including my family will want her” – she said

“How can this cruel world take this right from you to be a mother” – Candice said

“This baby deserves to live Glinda ---- Don’t do that to her” – Candice said

“But how? --- how will we hide her identity--- how will we save her from this cruel world?” – Glinda asked

“You don’t need to worry about it --- I will do that” – Candice replied

 And then the next day, all three went to New York for their college and started living together. Glinda broke up with Clifford, saying that she can’t live with him without owning herself and escaped from the town. In that nine months, Candice and Tom protected her and took care of her. Glinda missed college and didn’t continue her studies due to her pregnancy. Tom had still feelings for her but she was still treating him as her friend and the day of delivery came. Glinda gave birth to a beautiful girl. Candice took her into her arms for the first time even before Glinda and named her “Elizabeth”.

“Oh mom” – Elizabeth hugged her

“And then what happened?” – Christian asked

“And then we all three came back to Southdale with Elizabeth and Candice claimed to be her mother--- We told everyone that I and Candice were in a secret relationship and she got pregnant before leaving to New York” – Tom said

“My parents got so upset of me and they disowned me--- then Tom proposed me to marry him for the sake of Elizabeth” – Candice told them

“Oh, mom---Dad! You sacrificed for me a lot--- I don’t know how I will thank you guys enough for what you did for me ---- you married to dad just because of me” – Liza cried

“Oh baby but he is the best handsome ever” – Candice replied and kissed Tom

“Yes we fall in love with each other after getting married and thanks to you my girl” – Tom added

“But still I’m not your daughter Mom” – Liza cried

“No honey--- shh! No matter whoever gave you birth ---I was, I’m and I will be your mother--- forever” – Candice said politely and hugged her

“But how Clifford killed Glinda?” – Christian asked

“When we come back to the town, Glinda started falling for Clifford again and they started dating again but then one day, she told him to release her guilt about the prom night and the accidental s*x between us,

he couldn’t control his temper and beat her and called me---I and Candice went to Clifford’s place but we were late, he already beat her to death” – Tom replied

“Oh poor Glinda” – Elizabeth cried

“Clifford Jones doesn’t deserve to be the mayor of the town--- Glinda loved her selflessly and what he did to her --- such a psychopath!” – Christian said

“Now honey--- Listen to me! we all sacrificed a lot to bring you in this World--- now we want you to live --- for us” – Candice said

“The hybrids are really dangerous--- and so as outsider vampires--- and the people of Southdale--- they want to kill you--- so we have to leave this town as soon as possible” – Tom said

“Why not tonight?” – Christian said

“Yes--- Christian can come with us so that he can protect me” – Liza said

“Ok son! I trust you” – Tom said to Christian

“Your mom will stay here--- I and Christian will leave with you--- later, I’ll bring her as well” – Tom added

“Come on honey—let's pack your things” – Candice said to Liza

Alexander was sitting on the terrace with Jacob and other hybrids. They were playing cards together and drinking. No matter what the consequences were, Alexander loved his army and valued everyone equally. He was ruling his army sincerely and he considered them as a family and that’s why they all valued and respected him in the same way.

“Here you go!” – Jacob chuckled after putting three cards together.

“don’t play smart with me Jac” – Alexander giggled and showed the last three cards which were the same in numbers

“Win” – he proudly said

“you always win my brother” –Jacob replied

Alexander was laughing and suddenly he closed his eyes. All hybrids got worried.

“What is that?” — Chloe asked him

He opened his eyes and glared at the forest.

“She is escaping from town” — Alexander growled and disappeared

“Let me go with ---” — Chloe couldn’t complete her sentence and he already left

“I will miss you mom” — Liza sobbed while hugging her mom

“Alice!” — she then hugged Alice

Christian called Alice and Kevin at Liza’s place and informed them that she is leaving. He told them and his parents that he is leaving with her for her safety. Liza then hugged Kevin and cried.

“Come, Liza! We are getting late” — Tom called her

“Coming Dad” — she replied and Christian held her hand.

“Bye everyone” — she waved and gave a flying kiss to everyone

“I will miss her” — Candice said and hugged Alice and cried.

They got in the car and it was dark and quiet in the town.

“Are you ready?” — Tom asked Liza

“Yeah--I think so” — she sighed

“Don’t worry babe --- I’m with you -- and I’ll always protect you” — Christian said while caressing her shoulder from the back seat.

Liza was sitting in the front seat next to her father and Christian was sitting at the back.

“Hybrids are at the boundaries of the town-- I think Liza you should sit at the back seat” — Tom said

“Mr. Young is right” — Christian replied

“Ok” — she opened the door and Christian and Liza exchanged the seats.

“Ok honey——get ready, there would be too much trouble” — her dad said

“I can fight with any obstacle now” — she replied Confidently

Tom smiled and started the engine. After few minutes, they were on the boundary of the town and saw too many police mobiles. One of the policemen stopped the car and it was Sheriff Steele.

“Hey man” — Tom said

“Hey Tom” — sheriff Steele smiled and saw Christian and Liza inside the car with her luggage.

“Good luck” — sheriff smiled

And ordered the other police officers to open the boundary for them. They successfully got out of the town and went on the highway, headed to the city.

As they left the town, Liza got scared and closed the windows of the car. When the route got quiet Tom increased the speed and suddenly Someone jumped on the car’s bonnet and Tom hurriedly turned the car and the car went into the woods and smashed into a tree.

“He is here” — Tom shouted.

He hurriedly turned the steering wheel towards the road and turned back to the town. Alexander jumped from the woods and stood in front of their car.

“Going somewhere fellows?” — Alexander asked.

“Oh my God-- Dad” — Liza cried

“Don’t worry Liza-- I’m here” — Christian shouted and took out of the car.

“No Christian!” — Liza shouted.

“Go Mr. Young” — Christian screamed and stood outside the car

Liza didn’t think anything and she went out of the car as well. Alexander saw her face covered with tears and her blonde dancing hair and he got paused.
