“What are you implying, then?” Cassandra asked, her voice shaking, “I knew you blamed me for her death, but you kept denying it, Why would I hurt Lucy?” She added, tears streaming down her face.
My mind was reeling with different thoughts.
Cass never told me she knew the previous surrogate that died and finding out now.
