Innocent Lunch

Jonathon PoV:

I have been joking with my pack members. Some manly teasing was exchanged, which bonded us together. “We all noticed the marks on her neck. That was a quick act.” There was no need to waste time,” I laughing responded.

My wolf, Thunder, wanted to mark her as soon as we met her. He was tempted the first time in the infirmary, where she looked so vulnerable. It had taken all my will power to persuade my wolf to mark her later. By the time we had reached our pack his patience had run out and I howled her against the wall and made her ours. “Mine,” I repeatedly heard Thunder in my head. Although I saw her distressed look, I did not regret it. Whilst speaking with my friends, I glanced occasionally to her to make sure she was doing fine. She seemed to settle in well and seemed to enjoy speaking to my pack members. My mate was not talkative. She was intelligent and seemed to choose her words carefully except when I angered her. I had to smile at that. My friends were glancing at me. She had not hesitated to speak her mind to me. Niels looked at me questioning my smile. I had spent some time with her father so understandably she chooses the times she said her opinion. He was an Alpha, who used his power and voice a lot. I had heard him shouting during my short visit a lot. His short temper was known to his pack members, so that they knew when to steer away from him. His only weak spot was his oldest daughter.

I knew that although I did not get fast angry, once I did it was like a fire was taking hold of me and letting me not go until everything was burnt.

Flashback: The infirmary scene had made infuriated me. Really mad. I punched a tree outside to release my anger. Alpha Jack was shouting at my mate and she was crying. I had heard it from outside the door and I knew that others had heard him as well. I felt somehow, although not knowing her well, that it was one of the rare occasions, where I would hear her crying. After my visit to her, where she visibly relaxed due to our mate bond, I went back to her house. It was strange that I would sleep in the same house as hers without her being there since her father had banned her from there. I was asking myself, how often it happened, that they were arguing. Alpha Jack was still shouting from the top of his lungs and cursing and saying horrible things about her. Her sister was trying to calm him down. My vision became blurry and Niels restrained me with all his power and calmed me down. My veins were popping up and my wolf wanted to rip this man’s throat. “He is the father of your mate. It is best not to start a war with this pack. Calm down and we will tell him that you have found your mate.” He was shocked when I told him that and said something that angered me much more than anything else. “’You deserve a better mate.” I growled loudly at that. The house was shacking. Everything I have seen that day made me understand that she was the perfect mate for me. She would be not a soft Luna but a powerful warrior Luna, although I prefer to see her not going into any fights. She could train, however. That would benefit also me as her mate.

I felt her glancing at me. She was evaluating my response to something that she was about the ask. I went closer to here. She asked him in a low voice “Would you like to eat something as well? Are you hungry?”. I was stunned. I was not used to be cared for. I was the Alpha, who made the tough decisions and the one who was feared at times and respected but rarely was someone concerned about my wellbeing. A warm feeling spread inside me. Since she was getting nervous and started to fidget since I had remained quiet. Therefore, she took the action to take 2 plates out of the drawers. I saw her stretch, where her bottom was put in display and her long blond hair was beautifully hanging down. I could feel heat building up inside me. Not thinking, I covered her back whilst touching her bottom with my lower body half, fully aware that she would feel my excitement as well. I felt her tense and covered her completely and took the 2 plates from her hands. However, I remained at the same situation, therefore she could not move either. I staid a bit longer than necessary in that position and she completely went still. “Man, we can all see what you are up to. Are you sure that this is the place you want to seduce her? In front of everyone?” Niels mindlinked me. He was smirking as were most of the male pack members. The female once were used to this behavior from the other male wolfs but had blushed as well. I used to control my urges and act more calculated. Having my mate next to me made me carefree. However, I did not want other male unmated men to see her in a compromising situation, although secretly I hoped that there were many compromising situations to follow.

I was brought back to the present when she stirred. Once released she had walked towards the table she turned around and asked me “I would like to have a look around. Would it be ok for you?”. She gave me the perfect opportunity to be alone with her without her knowing what she was asking. It was such an innocent question. Her submissive behavior did not fool me. I used my wolf speed and was in a matter of seconds on her side and had tightly wrapped my arms around her. She looked surprised up at me, but it just brought her lips closer to mine since I was looking down at her. She struggled slightly but there was no chance that she would be able to free her arms. I had my mate and my strong embrace trapped her arms by her sides. Her lips were almost touching mine. Apparently, my eyes had gotten dark full of lust, since her breath had quickened, and she blushed. Thunder said in his deep voice “Sure, let us explore each other together.” “I meant to see the forest and the other buildings. To explore the territory,” she hesitantly replied. “Sure, that is what I meant as well.” She was not convinced, and she had every right not to be convinced. My eyes became completely black at the thought of what I would be doing to her in the forest once I was alone with her. I saw an image of her wiggling beneath me and me on top of her. The excitement noticeable and feelable. Whether Thunder nor I was willing to wait any longer. She would be shouting my name over and over again. She felt my excitement and looked worried. “Jon, take it easy. You are not alone,” again Niels tried to calm me down via mindlink. I growled spontaneously annoyed due to the interruption from my Beta. Since my mate completely stiffened, I recognized that my growl had scared her. “I would not hurt you, my mate,” I whispered at her and could not resist to add “unless you enjoy it.” With that I released her from my hug. She still looked worried and I saw that she was thinking of a way to escape the inevitable. She looked at the others and did not speak immediately knowing that they would hear every word. Ignoring the last words, she replied: “Perhaps I can explore another time the new pack. Since you are busy with pack work, maybe you can refer me to one of the others, who can show me around,” she looked directly at me as if she knew what I was thinking. Clever girl and she was mine. “Whether today or in 2 days. I can wait.” She blushed since she knew what my words meant. I was not speaking about exploring the forest. I smirked. 2 days were not long until her heat would start and that is the time that she would beg me to release her from my pain. I was excited at the thought and trailed with my index finger her cheek. It was leaving a trail of tingles behind for both of us. Her lips parted and despite her worry I could feel her arousal. She blushed once she noticed that I had smelt it. Apparently, my famous smirk was back which made her conscious. On hence sight, 2 days might be too long. I grabbed her and lifted her over my shoulder and carried her over my shoulders. She tried to struggle herself out of my grip but there was no chance that I would let her go. I mindlinked “Do not disturb us,” to Niels.
