Malik was confused, the girl was loosing a lot of blood, "I am going to die" she said and then closed her eyes, she was dying. Mike was confused, he couldn't let this girl die just like that, he looked at her and an idea popped in his head.

"How about I give her my blood, it's supernatural perhaps she will heal"

He bet and reached for her neck, his teeth grew slightly longer and sharper.

He then bit into the girls flesh.

When he was done, he laid her down and stood up. He stood for a long time but nothing happened, he started panicking.

"Is she dead?" he bent and checked her pulse, she was still alive but didn't wake up. What was happening, he started moving to and fro, he turned and saw his reflection in a car's side mirror, he had blood on his mouth, he cleaned it hurriedly.

What was happening to him, he had hoped for a peaceful life in the future, but now he was stuck with a girl who could possibly be dead, he paced to and fro not sure of what to do next. "What if someone finds me here with this girl, what will I explain?" he said to himself.

He then lifted the girl and started moving, looking for a place to rest. He then saw garden, he found a tree that could provide shade where he lay with the unconscious girl.

As he laid her down, he noticed something, the wound on her neck had already turned into a scar, that when he opened his mind to reality, "Did I just mark this girl, as my mate?" he almost fainted, he had just made her his mate.

Overview

In humans, the sign of love is normally marriage, but demons mark there life time lovers as mates. Once a demon marks you, you become it's mate.

A demon's mark makes you inseparable, no matter what, you become lovers till death.

In short, Malik had to be stuck with this stranger till death do them apart.

He stood up, still not ready to believe what reality had brought him, he had only spent a few minutes with her but he was already tired of her, but now a lifetime, he started regretting everything, escaping, saving this girl, the world had turned against him.

He sat down and looked at her, "Dear mate, I can't be with you right, I don't even know you name, and perhaps you are married already, what will happen, you can't be my mate, never" As soon as he finished, hi words the girl opened her eyes, "Where am I?" Malik almost jumped, you'll awake.

The girl sat up, "You'll the man whom they wanted to rob, wait I was shot", she checked her stomach, to check for the wound but it was no where to be seen, but her shirt was full of blood. "What happened?"

"I also don't know, things happened really fast"

"What the....."

"You fainted, so I carried you hear for some fresh air"

"I fainted, but I ...."

"Don't think so much, you may faint again"

The girl wasn't sure if to believe this man's words but she chose to take it.

"By the way I'm Malik"

"I'm Tracy, nice to meet you"

"Nice to meet you too"

"By the way, are you from around here, I've never seen you"

"Uhm, ah, I'm new here"

"Where do you leave"

"I found a place, I hope I'll find one soon"

"What, its getting dark, where will you sleep if you haven't found a place"

"Not sure"

"How about you stay at my place tonight and you'll find a place tomorrow".

"That sounds tempting"

"So........"

"I don't know, I just find it hard to take things for free"

"Come on, you owe me for taking care of me while I was unconscious"

"Perhaps I have no other option"

"So let's go"

They stood up and started walking, after sometime they reached the place.

Tracy's POV.

I opened my eyes, I looked around, where was I.

"You'll awake?" someone said, I turned and looked at who was it was. it was the man from earlier, he was the most handsome person I had ever seen, he looked abnormally handsome. Like an alien from another world, for I was sure no human could have such looks.

"You'll man whom they wanted to rob" just then I remembered I had been shot, checking my self I had no wound. I tried to ask the man what happened but, he seemed confused himself, finally we came to an agreement that I had fainted.

"By the way I'm Malik" he introduced himself, I introduced myself self as well.

I had never seen him and was curious to know more about him, in the long talk I found out, he had no where to stay at the time, this was my chance to repay his favour of taking care of me while I was unconscious

They entered the house, it was simple but nice, Malik looked around, it was too small compared to his Chambers but it looked peaceful.

"I go prepare you something to eat" Tracy said and went off

Malik waited for sometime, and then Tracy appeared with a cup of coffee and some buscuits

He ate a little and then thanked Tracy. "What just that?" she was surprised, Malik had ate only one buscuit and half cup of coffee.

"It's enough" he said "and you have already given me more than enough when you allowed me in your house"

"That's nothing, anyway I'll go prepare your room"

"I'll come with you"

They went to the room and started preparing, " Oh wait, do you have clothes or other stuff"

"Oh, actually, actually......"

"Anything wrong?"

"Uhm, I... I was robbed"

"What, those damn goons,"

"It's okay"

"Wait how will you find a place when you stuff was stolen, I mean where will you get money"

"Don't worry, I find a way"

"Oh my God!" Tracy screamed

"What's wrong?"

"Where did I get this scar?" Goodness" she was looking in mirror.

Malik looked at the scar, it was the mark, just then he felt his teeth prolonging and sharpening.
