I accept her

"My dear wife"?, Malik was sure he heard him right, Tracy had said they were not married yet, he was probably not talking to her. Who was he calling his wife if not Tracy, wasn't he in love with Tracy.

"What was he thinking, it was very normal for a man to have many wives back in the past, it was probably the same theory in the modern world"

He moved to his bedroom to sleep but he wasn't sleepy at all. He moved uncontrollably in the bed but couldn't sleep. He was used to not having sleep, but now he needed it badly, he wanted to rest. Having no sleep was an effect from his demon side but this time he felt it wasn't because of his nature he just lost sleep naturally as humans.

He sat on his bed angry at everything, an idea popped in his head. He teleported to Tracy's bedroom, she was sound asleep, in the next minute she started snoring. Malik smiled at this sudden event, he looked at her, he actually found her snoring cute.

"Damn mark, I am starting to find weird things cute, he was about to teleport back to his room when he heard.

"I love you". He halted, did he hear that right? He turned only to find Tracy sound asleep, was he imagining things now, he didn't understand which magical spell was taunting him. Whatever it was, he had to get rid of it as soon as possible, he was probably under a spell, or some magical force.

Falling in love had never crossed his mind, he was sure he wasn't meant for love especially if it is with this human girl.

The next morning, he was still confused about everything he heard the other night, Henry was probably hiding something and he had to find it out, he was responsible for Track since she was his mate, he had to protect her. Before he even realized it, he was slowly accepting Tracy as his mate.

"Good morning, uhm, what's your name again?" Henry said approaching Malik.

"It's Malik, good morning, Henry" he replied with a genuine smile.

"I can see you two are awake" Tracy said joining the circle, "breakfast is ready"

The three of them sat down at the dinning table and started off with their breakfast.

""This man is looking at my Tracy in disturbing manner"" Malik could read Henry's mind, he was really the jealous type just as Tracy had said, he smiled at himself.

"What's funny, Malik?" Henry asked

"Just listening to an inner joke" he replied sarcastically.

Henry continued eating not satisfied with the answer but gave it up.

After they were done eating, Henry mentioned he was going out for a walk so Malik was left alone with Tracy.

As they were washing dishes Malik felt like he had to ask Tracy a few questions for his peace of mind.

"Uhm, Tracy, you and Henry ain't married yet right?'

"Not yet, but we will soon"

"Has Henry ever mentioned any wife, I mean is he married"

"What are you talking about, Henry can't be married, he can never betray me, where did you get that?"

She was getting out of control, so he had to control her.

No, actually I was just wondering, hope you didn't get it the wrong way.

"Never say such baseless accusations" she said seriously.

""So polygamy isn't the thing in the modern world"" he thought to himself, then Henry was probably hiding something, not only from him but also from Tracy. He had to investigate this, he was sure to remind himself that finding the truth wasn't for him, but to repay Tracy's kindness.

He became invisible and went to Henry's room, he was speaking on the phone, ""What is that he is using"" he was totally confused, he didn't understand what a phone was. He had voices talking back to Henry, ""So this is why I didn't hear the other speaker yesterday, because he was using this thing"" he didn't know what to refer to it, he wasn't even sure if that thing was what he was actually talking to or whether it was just a voice exchanging media. He had to find some way to understand the modern world, in order to know what Henry was up to. He moved out of Henry's room still invisible and moved to the pool, he found Tracy almost naked entering the water, he looked away afraid of seeing her half naked body, a man came in and entered the water, he was also half naked, then followed two girls with the same dress code, "So this is the dress code for the pool, so uncultured" he said to himself.

He sat down and watched them swim but his eyes were mainly fixed on Tracy, she looked so gorgeous, with well defined curves, the sight of her smile, her hair and body drenched was really breath taking. They enjoyed till sundown.

Later that night as they were eating supper, Malik had his eyes fixed on Tracy, and this terribly bothered Henry.

"Malik, do you have a girlfriend?" Henry asked out of the blue

"What?!" Malik almost choked.

"I mean you are good looking, don't you have a girl there?"

"Uhm, I have, I met her, and when we met, heavens wrote our destiny, mine forever" he said all that his eyes fixed on Tracy.

""This son of a b***h, I'll kill him"" Malik read his thoughts.

He smiled and somehow he thought it felt good fighting for a girl.

After they were done with supper, Malik went to his room and to his surprise, Rafshan was seated on his bed.

"What are you doing, someone might see you" Malik panicked.

"Man, I'm hundreds of years, older and wiser than you" he said with a smile.

"Anyway thanks for coming, I needed you badly"

"Before you say a thing tell me what you chose, love her or I kill her?"

"You are seriously bringing that up now?"

"Once you fail to give me the answer within the next few minutes, she's dead"

"What, are you crazy?"

"I'm counting...."

Malik started pacing around the room.

"Answer?" Rafshan announced.

"I... I..will try and love her, I accept her" Malik murmured.
