I just came back from the woods, hoping to see my mate sleeping soundly, to my dismay Tiffany had already closed the curtains, blocking me from seeing her beautiful face. The only thing I could hear was her heartbeat which indicated that she was already asleep.
I exhaled deeply, having it in mind that I should get used to this, as I turned to enter the bathroom an ominous shadow stopped me. My ears perked up as I could hear the gnashing of teeth and growls with blows passing each other.
Something was going on down there and using my acute hearing ability, I was able to trace the sound and sped tracked to the area.
“Bloody Wendigo!” I spat out as I helped Denali stop them from hurting her.
