HER LOVE

It had been months since Lola and Eli started dating. After series of ups and downs she was finally very happy in the relationship. Everything between her and Eli was going great that it felt like she had finally found her dream man,that maybe some of the bad she went through these past months was to lead her to finally be with Eli.

Eli and Lola's relationship was going on great that everyone around them could see how much they loved each other,some friends even envied their relationship. Lola was happy and satisfied, Eli knew everything she had gone through and still loved and accepted her,he felt the need to protect her,be there for her and help her get through the trauma of what she had gone through. He loved her and always wanted to make her happy,he never wanted to give her any reason to shed a tear or feel sad and she loved him too,as a matter of fact she realised she was in love with him,he was her soulmate,she felt it and she knew it,he was the one.

Many are the times Lola would sit him down and say

'if I was still a virgin when I met you,I would have given my innocence for you to take'

that would always make Eli happy to know she trusts and loves him that much to let him take her innocence. Their love was wonderful and they where inseparable,they would tell each other everything both the good and the bad. For quiet some time it seemed like nothing can come between them,like they were really meant to be.

Time had passed and they clocked 1 year 4 month's in the relationship. Throughout the months the bond between them grew stronger, until Eli betrayed thier love. Lola had a strong intuition that when she felt something was off or wrong it would always turn out to be that way,so she always trusted her gut and intuition whenever she felt something off. For the past week she had been feeling Eli was hiding something from her, something she feared would hurt her if she knew. At first she would ignore it and wouldn't talk to him about it until she couldn't stop thinking about it,it started troubling her and the thought of not knowing whether or not he had done something wrong was becoming more unbearable. The semester was coming to an end when all this happened. One Monday morning before she left for class she decided to sit him down and talk to him about it.

Lola: ' Eli '

Eli: ' yes, my love'

Lola: ' something has been troubling my mind and I was hoping I could talk to you about it '

Eli: ' yah,sure what's the problem? '

Lola: ' for about a week now I've been feeling off,my intuition feels you are hiding something from me,if there's anything you have to tell me please tell me '

Eli was confused and didn't know what to say. He knew how good her intuition was and was a little shocked to hear her ask him this. He was silent for a few mins,until he finally spoke

Eli: ' my love,I love you and there is nothing I'm hiding from you,you know I always tell you everything. You are probably just worried and over thinking things'.

After hearing him say that, Lola felt a little calm,and decided to let it go even though her intuition told her something was up,for he had never given her any reason to doubt him. They spent the little time they had left that semester together before they both went home for the holidays. Even though not close to each other their love for one another never changed.

One day when Eli called Lola in the evening to check up on her,he felt the need to tell her what was troubling him and couldn't keep it from her anymore.

Eli: ' babe! '

Lola: ' yes love '

Eli: ' you know I love you right? '

Lola: ' yes babe I do '

Eli: ' I am very sorry I have kept this from you '

immediately Lola heard these words come out of his mouth,she knew she wouldn't like what he was about to say. Part of her wanted to know what he would say and the other part didn't,she knew whatever it was would hurt her. Her heart started beating fast,her palms felt sweaty and she went silent lost in thought trying to figure out what it was he wanted to say. Eli coughed and that seemed to get her out of her trance.

Eli: ' babe,are you still there? '

Lola: ' yes,what is it you want to tell me? '

Eli : ' so a week before you started feeling off about me doing something wrong I did something terrible '

Eli went silent for some minutes as he dreaded telling her what he was hiding.

Lola: ' yes go on,what did you do? '

Eli: ' I met up with my ex girlfriend and we had s*x,I'm so sorry I didn't mean to hurt you like this '

Upon hearing this Lola's heart broke,she felt like someone stabbed her heart with a knife. Tears started rolling down her cheeks,she was broken, she was betrayed by the one she trusted and loved. She went silent for some minutes and finally said bye to him and cut the call. She rushed up to her room, locked herself in,fell on the bed hugged her pillow and broke into tears. Eli kept sending texts and calling but she was neither replying to his texts or picking his calls. She was hurt by what he did and the fact that he lied to her the time she asked him if he was hiding anything. She kept crying and getting lost in thoughts wondering if there was more he was hiding from her. She cried her eyes out until she finally fell asleep.

The following day came and it was past 12 in the morning, she was so exhausted from crying that she decided to sleep through the morning. She knew when she woke up she had some thinking to do so she knows how to deal with what Eli had done. After she took her bath and had her brunch,she sat down by the TV and started to go through every text Eli sent apologizing. After some hours of thinking and talking to her best friend Nancy, telling her everything and having her best friend weigh in her opinion on what she should do,Lola knew the next step to take. When she was ready and felt the gut to call him up,she picked her phone and called him,when the phone started to ring she felt sick to her stomach that she wanted to hang up the call. It was rather late to change her mind because he didn't take long to answer

Eli: ' Lola, I have been so worried and thinking you didn't want to talk to me. I am very sorry for what I did,I love you, please forgive me '

Lola loved him too,she wanted to forgive him but was still hurt about what he did and told herself to do what's best for her at the moment and not fall weak to him.

Lola: ' hi, ummmm sorry I didn't pick up yesterday I needed time to just think and figure things out. '

Eli: ' that's ok I understand '

Lola: ' I'm really sorry to say this but I need a break, what you've done has really hurt me and I need some space to just recover and get past it. '

Eli went quiet,he knew this would happen but hoped for the best. He didn't want to give her space but he knew he had to because of what he had done so he had no option but to agree. After that Lola said bye and she cut the call. She spent the rest of the holiday trying to heal and get passed what Eli did,and trying to figure out whether or not to give him another chance. On the other hand,Eli didn't stop checking up on Lola,he would call and text her almost everyday.

Time passed and she was back for another semester in school. She and Eli agreed to just be friends for some time while they were back in school as she was not yet over the betrayal. Just as they got along well as a couple,they managed to get along well as friends, though some days she would feel tempted to want to f**k him and spend time with him like old days. One night after they had finished studying,he walked her to her room and upon reaching there she invited him for some tea. As they sat drinking tea and watching a movie,they kept chatting and laughing,they were getting along well. Later before he left,he leaned in,kissed her and walked away. She didn't know what to do,him doing that gave her a sleepless night that she kept debating on whether or not to call him back to her room. After some hours of being uneasy, she picked up her phone and called him

Lola: ' Eli can you come by the room? '

Eli: ' Ummm are you sure you want me to come? it's 02 '

Lola: ' yes! '

Eli didn't waste time and was by her room as soon as he could. When he got there she was in her sexy night wear,the one she knew would always drive him crazy. When he saw her he didn't waste time, pulled her in for a kiss,he kissed her passionately and held her close to him like he was scared of losing her. They kissed for what seemed forever, until they both couldn't hold back the urge and had a wonderful night of passionate s*x. As she fell asleep in his arms,she felt calm and happy again.

After that night,he would sleep over by her room,and they started spending time together again. It was like that for a while until they decided to talk and see if they were getting back together or just having fun. Still having feelings for eachother,both agreed on getting back together.

For some time everything went back to normal and seemed like they would work out. For Lola things were not the same,it was good but the trust wasn't all there and she also felt he had changed,and he did he actually changed. He started hiding things from her and would act strangely when attending to some calls and walk out to answer them,he never did this is the past. He was still the same loving and affectionate Eli but he wasn't been faithful to her and she knew it as much as she felt it. Some days,she would think about asking him and talk to him but she knew that would be in vein,as the last time she tried talking to him about something he lied to her.

His behaviour was starting to get the best of her that Lola felt she had to do some digging if she can't get him to tell her what was going on. One night when he slept over,she decided to go through his phone and what she found was hurtful and devastating. He was not only flirting and sleeping with one girl but a couple of them and one of them was the girl he cheated on her with the first time. She was broken to see this,he had changed,this wasn't the Eli Lola knew, this Eli disgusted her and she felt stupid for giving him another chance and even more stupid for loving him. She couldn't take it anymore and woke him up,she showed him everything she found and read, kicked him out of her room. For some weeks she kept to herself and ignored him. This time she was done and didn't want him back,she felt bad that she still loved him and still felt he was her soulmate. She needed time to herself and made sure she got it.

Lola and Eli hadn't gotten back,a semester had passed and both did there own thing. When a new year was approaching Lola meet a guy,his name was Jack. She and Jack got along so well that there was no dull moment with him. She was still in love with Eli,but was happy to finally start having interest in another guy. When Eli got to hear that Lola was spending time with another guy,he started getting jealous and would show up by her room unexpected some days,he wanted her back and he couldn't hide it. Even though Eli started making his intentions of wanting to get back with Lola,she never stopped herself from giving Jack a chance to know her and like wise. They would talk and spend time together,flirt here and there and kiss sometimes,but she wasn't ready to take things to the next step with him. She liked him yes,but she was still in love with Eli and was contemplating whether or not to give him another chance.

One day as she was spending time with Jack as usual,they were flirting and kissing. He tried to get a little more s****l but she stopped him and was truthful to him about not yet ready to take things to the next level and how she felt about her ex. Jack told her he understood and will let her figure it out. Some days passed and Jack came to check on Lola. This time around Jack was more flirtatious than usual and he couldn't stop kissing her, having been used to them flirting and kissing here and there she let her guard down, little did she know Jack came with some different intentions in his mind. As he was kissing her,he got hold of her hands and held them in his grip,his kisses where not so gentle and passionate anymore but rather rough. He pinned her down while he came on top of her his lips still firmly placed on her lips,next thing she felt was him moving her dress up sliding his hands up her dress and moving her lace underwear aside,she knew what he was trying to do and started fighting to get her hands lose and push him off,the more she fought him the tighter his grip got on her hands. He spread her legs with his legs while holding her hands above her head still in a firm grip,she felt scared and powerless that it took her to the flashback of how Jade took her innocence forcefully. He slid her underwear to the side and put his hard core in her thrusting deep with the first push,she was in pain and he didn't care,she cried and begged him to stop but he didn't take hid to her words,he kept thrusting more and more until he satisfied his urge. After he was done,he got off her and left. Lola stayed there in tears,she finally gathered the strength to get up and walk to the bathroom,got in and started taking a bath,she felt disgusting she felt dirty and she felt cursed for this was the second time someone was taking advantage of her. She wondered why her?why was she the only one to suffer?and why was it the people she would like that would destroy her like this?

Lola locked herself in for some time and kept to herself,she did not tell anyone about what happened. She slowly started becoming depressed and would have anxiety attacks here and there. That ordeal made her not want to think about taking things further with Eli,she felt she betrayed him,even though they were not together he was the reason she didn't want to take things further with Jack. Eli still continued to talk to Lola about them getting back and she always told him she didn't know and would need time to think about it. After some days after Jack r***d her he sent her a text greeting her like everything was cool and wanting to talk about what happened and if they will take things further,in his mind he had done nothing wrong but something normal,she told him she didn't want to talk about it but rather wanted to forget everything that happened.

Eli finally opened and was back in school for his semester. From the moment he came back he was always spending time with Lola,she wanted to tell him what had happened before he got in school but was failing to do so. He started noticing something was off with her,like something was wrong but he didn't ask her about it. Eli knew Lola and would easily tell if something was bothering her and if she wasn't ok. One night as she was fixing them something to eat,he went through her phone and found the conversation between Jack and her,he got pissed and furious that was the first time Lola ever saw him that hurt and upset. He was so hurt he cried Infront of her,he asked her to tell him what happened and when she explained everything he didn't believe Jack r***d her,he thought she wanted to do it and take revenge on him for everything he had done to her in the past. That night he still stayed over but didn't talk to her much. The next day he got up early,took his bath and started ironing his clothes and some minutes later Lola woke up,after he saw her awake he took that as an opportunity to ask her about it again and still he didn't want to believe but rather take it that she did it for revenge. He was so furious that he started behaving crazy towards her,he kept yelling at her and threatened to burn her with the iron he held in his hands,the moment she would try and speak to him he would go pull her hair and grab her by the neck,she was so confused and couldn't stop crying this was the first time he was ever been violent towards her. He would pase back and forth yelling and calling her all sorts of names, moments later he stood still looked at her and went towards her, grabbed her by the hand pushed her to the bed and forced himself on her and when she tried to fight him off he would hold her neck tighter and tighter that she started gasping for air,even through her pleads and cries he didn't stop until he had his way and was satisfied she remained there in pain and in shock,this is the man she loved,the one that made her feel safe and today he did to her exactly what the other two did to her. She couldn't help but cry and feel depressed,he returned to her room that night and did the same thing,he r***d her again. For 3 days straight he kept doing that to her.

Lola was in so much pain,she was hurt and confused for she did not understand how someone she loved and claimed to love her back would add up to her pains instead of be there for her,she wondered why all this was happening to her that she started to lose the thrill to live again. Her depression was becoming worse that it started affecting her school and her social life,she kept to herself throughout the rest of the semester and told no one about what she went through,she just wanted it to end so she would go home. The semester ended and she left,never talked to Eli again and never did return to the school,with time she managed to talk to her best friend and open up about what she went through. Lola never did go back to that college again.
