Chapter 27 TALULLAH
“Talullah?” Suha called on her the next day in class. “Do you know the answer?”
“I’m sorry. What was the question?” She shook herself out of her reverie and tried to focus on Suha and the two-person Skimmer in the middle of the dark blue and silver rug.
Suha gave her a concentrated stare. Talullah had been in class for almost an hour and still had no idea if Suha knew Talullah and Jothi visited the tunnels the previous night or if Suha was even the one who’d scared them off. Based on the fact Suha had found Beck and Jothi the first time, it wouldn’t be reaching far to assume she did.
Instead of reprimanding Talullah, she called on someone else. “Lynx?”
“The Skimmer doesn’t need a separate fuel source if the navigator is strong enough.”
