Ace put his arm around my shoulders, drawing me closer. Looking up, I had a moment to prepare before he gave me a very brief, firm, and sweet kiss. As he pulled back, I found my arms had instinctively wrapped around his middle. Staring into his eyes, I couldn't discern his thoughts, and something about his expression felt unsettling.
