The door to Serena’s room burst open as Kaelen pushed it with full force. It slammed against the wall but somehow didn’t break.
Serena shot up from her bed at the sudden noise.
Her eyes widened when she saw him ‘Kaelen’ standing inside her chambers for the very first time. He shut the door behind him with a loud bang, making her flinch.
She sniffed the air, catching his strong pheromones, but they didn’t sting her like the first time he’d used them as a weapon against her.
