Chapter 5Destiny groaned as the early morning light filtered through her window. If that wasn’t telling enough, the alarm began to beep with obnoxious cheeriness. She smacked the off button and rolled out of bed. Another day had started, whether she wanted it to or not. ::Want a drink:: She blinked, pushed her wayward hair out of her face, and turned toward Sebastian who stood on the other side of her mattress, stretching. “I don’t know why I bother with the water bowl in the kitchen.” ::Faucet tastes better:: She couldn’t disagree with that. “You’re smart.
