I was preparing my dinner when my phone started to ring and vibrate. My first thought was to ignore it but the vibrating didn't stop. I sighed as I turned my stove off which was heating up my pan as my attention reached my phone, wondering who needs to talk to me at ten at night on a Friday.
My eyebrows furrowed together, as a puzzled look overtook my face. Alexander. He was the one ringing me. He's in the Virginia at this moment, on a business trip. That's why I'm confused. He messaged me saying he had an important meeting soon and for me to sleep well. Alexander usually spends before business meetings looking through the documents to make sure he has everything.
