Taming his flame (mafia organization series 1)

Chapter 7

Kai and I are currently in his room. I still can’t believe that the man who took my virginity is actually his brother.

Their parents aren't home because they went on a vacation to Europe. So right now, it’s just him, his brother, and their household staff.

"Umm... Kai, how come I never saw your brother whenever I visited here before?" I asked Kai curiously as we chatted.

"He only visits here occasionally since he has his own house. He’s been living there ever since he turned 18," Kai replied, and I simply nodded. Suddenly, I became curious about how old Kuya Dveiroin actually was, so I couldn’t help but ask Kai.

"How old is your brother?" Kai looked at me, his eyes questioning.

"You like him, don’t you? Love at first sight?" Kai teased me, poking my side. I raised an eyebrow and gave him a sharp look.

"No, I don't! I’m just curious," I denied, looking away to hide the redness creeping up my cheeks.

Kai smiled sweetly at me.

"My brother is 33 years old and still doesn’t have a girlfriend," he said teasingly.

I was surprised by how big our age gap was. He’s so much older.

"I didn’t even ask if he had a girlfriend," I said defensively, looking away again because of how flushed my cheeks felt.

"You’re blushing... Ayieeee!" Kai teased, poking my side again. "You're giddy, aren't you? Hahaha!"

I stood up from where I was sitting to change the subject. I couldn’t get Kuya Dveiroin’s handsome face out of my mind, and Kai kept teasing me about it.

Our conversation was interrupted by a knock on the door. Kai went to open it.

"Ma’am, here’s your snack," said Manang Pesing, their housekeeper, who placed a tray of food on the study table.

"Thank you, Manang," I said with a smile. She smiled back at me and turned to Kai.

"Ma’am, Sir Dveiroin said he’ll be home late tonight. He’ll be staying here overnight," she informed Kai.

"Ahh, is that so, Manang? Thanks," Kai responded with a smile.

"Alright then, Ma'am," said Manang before leaving to prepare lunch.
