Chapter Thirty-five As the week progressed, the heaviness slowly lifted from my body. Instead of shuffling with leaden feet down the hall at KZSD, by midweek I walked with a spring in my step. The change was apparent and Marly commented on it. “Yes,” I told her. “Since Deena’s visit, I feel I’ve turned the corner.” “Does this mean you’ll get back on the air?” She raised an eyebrow. “The reason I’m asking is I’ve got this fun idea for us, and I was hoping you’d brainstorm with me.” “Sure.
