Chapter Twenty-one There was no specific day set aside for Glover’s radio show challenge, and I wondered if the whole thing would die a quiet death. Marly dropped the subject and spoke of her upcoming holiday travel plans. She would be leaving for L.A. on Wednesday night after the show. Thanksgiving morning I sat curled up on my living room sofa dressed in cozy pink velour loungewear. Silent marching bands and colorful floats paraded across the muted TV screen.
