Chapter Twenty-three We were in a lovely room—a hotel suite? I knew where everything was; my personal items were as they used to be when I lived at home. There was a man in the room and I wanted him to leave. I felt aroused and I knew my real lover was hiding somewhere in the room. The man vanished. I breathed in relief and let go of a pang of guilt. A bright light in the bathroom caught my attention. It was so bright, I could not see past the radiance. Shielding my eyes with my left hand, I searched for the wall switch with my right. Then I saw her, Marly’s smiling image inside the gold-framed mirror. I felt the switch. Oddly, it was in the off position. I turned it on and reached climax. I woke up with a gasp. The pulsing between my legs faded and my breathing returned to normal. Light
