Hazel and Lumina tried to stay hidden behind the pillars as someone approached.
“No one should be awake yet.” Hazel hissed in a high-pitched whisper to Lumina. “What are we going to do?”
“Just stay quiet, hopefully they won’t see us.” Lumina put her forefinger to her lips, shushing Hazel.
The sound of the steps got closer until they came into view. Lumina peeked around the pillar to see Prince Warrick. He was with two other boys.
“I can’t believe I finally got away from her, Sabastian.” Prince Warrick whispered to his friend. “My attendant is terrible. She never leaves me alone.”
