Lumina got out of bed, almost as soon as the light from the sun hit her face. It had been two years since King Warrick and his friends had graduated. Today was another graduation day and she had prepared herself for this moment for the last two years. She had a plan and it counted on her being at the graduation ceremony this year. She was finally eighteen and if she had been a student at the Academy, she would be graduating this year and leaving, but she wasn’t a student. She wanted to prove herself to be more than what Warrick had deemed her so long ago. She wasn’t a nobody, she would prove it to him.
