Cold

1516 Words

Five Years Later in the Werewolf Realm Lumina shivered in her bed, even with her blanket covering her. It was the blanket she had from her parents. It was the only thing she had left of them. Her light blue eyes fluttered open. She was finding it hard to sleep because she couldn’t get warm. Lumina sat up and stared at the thin material dividing her sleeping area from the rest of the one-room shack. Her long, dark brown hair hung down her back to her waist. Her straw stuffed mattress lay on the floor of the tiny sleeping area. She pulled up the tiny blanket; it didn’t even cover her feet. The scant material that was her nightdress didn’t do anything to help keep her warm. Lumina tried shakily to call out. Her voice would not come to her. If she woke her aunt, she might be punished for it.
