"How dare you do something so heinous, Liam!" Cassandra yelled as she stormed into Liam's living room, ignoring the guards' attempts to stop her.
"What the hell are you talking about? The only thing that is filthy in this room is you. And what are you doing in my house?" Liam inquired, equally irritated.
"How dare you hire a s**t to be my daughters' nanny!Cassandra is enraged.
"Wow! So, does it bother you, uh, uh, uh, uh. You used to be a s**t, and you were the s**t who gave Audrey birth, remember?" He mocked.
Cassandra swallowed hard, the words sinking in.
"Don't make Audrey come to the living room, Lanny." When Cassandra entered, Liam said to the maid who was serving him juice,
"Sir, yes." The maid dashed upstairs, knowing Audrey would arrive at any moment."She's my daughter, and I have complete authority over everything she does for her own good. And that lady, the one you just hired, is a s**t. She will never, ever, ever be my daughter's nanny! Are you thinking at all? For God's sake, she's a s**t! What values do you believe she will instill in Audrey? What's the deal with knowing how to f**k different men?" She screamed as if she was about to burst. Because of her rage, her face was bright red.
"Well, well, well. Take a look at who's talking. You would not have ended up in another man's house if your mother had taught you good morals." Liam said as he sipped his drink. He's so pissed that he didn't even care about the words that are coming in his damn mouth.
"Are you insane? You're fucked." Cassandra became enraged.
"Oh no, I'm not. But I suppose you're the insane one." Shaking his head, Liam laughed like he's amused of what she is saying.
"If you insist on that lady being Audrey's nanny. I swear to God, I'm going to court about it." Cassandra threatened him, but Liam simply laughed.
"Court? Have you forgotten already that you lost all of your rights to Audrey many years ago. Did you give a damn about how she felt and how devastated she was at the time? You prioritized money over us. How much did it cost again? Isn't it half a billion? You chose a half-billion dollars over your daughter. So, do you still think of yourself as Audrey's mother? What the hell are you doing?" Liam expressed his rage by clenching his hands and gritting his teeth. He becomes enraged when he thinks about the past.
Cassandra swallowed again, her gaze fixed on Liam. She can't deny that she still loves him after seeing him up close. He's getting more and more attractive by the day. She missed him so much that she wanted to run up to him and hug him tightly.
She misses his embrace.
She longs for his kiss.
When they were still together, he smiled.
She longs to be in his arms.
While thinking of those thoughts, she smiled sadly on the inside. She can do whatever she wants now except for the fact that she wanted to be with her daughter and with the man she truly loves."You are aware of the fact that if you want this to go to the court, I'm very much ready. After all, my name is Liam Davis. I always win in every game, and you know that messing with me will ruin you reputation. Remember, the ace is on me." He said sternly, his gaze fixed on her.
"Li..." Cassandra was saying something, but he cut her off.
"If you don't have anything important to discuss with me, please leave my house right now. My daughter could appear at any time. And I don't want her to see you because she'll hate you even more if she sees you here. And you don't want that to happen, do you?" He then turned his back on her.
"Should I call my bodyguards and instruct them to push you out of the house, just like you did to me four years ago?" Liam inquired, his brow furrowed.
Cassandra gave him one last look before sighed and walked out of the house.
"Dad." Audrey drew his attention to his daughter. She was standing on the second floor.
Cassandra, thankfully, had already left before Audrey arrived."Lanny does not want for me to come here. I'm tired of staying in my room all day." She whimpered. She's adorable.
Her daughter's reaction made him laugh.
"She's free to come here now, Lanny." He motioned to the woman who was standing behind her daughter. He sighed, knowing that his daughter would question him about why he didn't want her to come down earlier.
Her nanny should have returned by now.
