Halting my car outside Sehgal Heights, I stepped out and went in.
"Yes, Miss, how may I help you?" the receptionist asked.
"Avyaan Sehgal, I want to meet with Avyaan Sehgal," I said, and she raised her eyebrows.
"Do you have any appointments?" She questioned.
"Listen, Miss, just call him and tell him that Shravya Arya is here," I said, frustrated.
She called him, "Sir, there is a girl, Shravya Arya, who would like to meet you."
"Uh, okay, sir," and she put the phone down.
"Sir didn't know, and he said not to disturb him as he was busy discussing the project with Ahaan, sir," the receptionist said, and my eyes widened.
How dare he?
Ugh, I stomped my feet in my anger.
"He didn't know me. "That ass forgot that I was his to-be fiancé this time," I literally shouted, getting angry.
"Miss, you are disturbing everyone, so please, we aren't interested in listening to your fake story every day, girl, like you came to meet him," she said.
Hawww, I would kill that Avyaan Sehgal. I was feeling humiliated just because of him.
"What is happening here?" I turned, hearing the voice.
Ohh yeah, it's his father, Devit Sehgal. I saw his picture on Google.
"His sir, it's Shravya here," I introduced.
"Hello, beautiful, yes, I know you. "You are Nitin's daughter," he wished me back, and I nodded.
"Sir, I want to meet with Avyaan." Can you please show me the direction of his cabin because this receptionist has already wasted my precious time?" I requested of him, glaring at the receptionist.
"Do you know who she is?" he shouted at the receptionist, making her flinch.
"Sorry, sir, but Avyaan sir said--" I cut off the receptionist.
"Sir, it's OK. "You don't need to shout at her for me," I said softly.
"Don't be formal, Shravya. "Call me uncle," he said, and I nodded, smiling.
He showed me the direction. I thanked him and stepped inside the lift. I pressed the button on the 7th floor and tapped my foot, waiting for it to open.
Now I was standing outside his cabin.
I knocked on the door twice.
"Come in," I heard his sharp voice.
I barged in, and he looked up at me. One more guy was inside, lying on the couch with his phone.
Furthermore, I think it was Ahaan. So, they were discussing the files, huh, but they were literally chilling here and even watching cartoons on TV.
I glared at Avyaan, glaring at him, and pulled him up by clutching his collar. "You bloody asshole?" How dare you? "You freaking wasted my 2 hours," I shouted.
"What the dhamaka?" I heard Ahaan murmuring from the back.
Ayaan's POV.
"Bro, you promised Mom that you would meet her," Ahaan said, and I looked up at him.
"Yes, I know I did, but it just slipped out of my mind, and it's already late. "I know she won't go to wait for me, and I won't waste my time by going there because I am sure she will leave," I replied to Ahaan.
Sorry, Mom, I love you so much, but it's just slipped out of my mind.
Sorry, Mom, I love you so much, but it's just slipped out of my mind.
"Ohh, my workaholic brother," Ahaan sighed.
"Bro, this time, Dad is serious about this marriage thing. "I think you should give it a chance," Ahaan said, much to my annoyance.
"Dad just knows how to force me into every single thing," I muttered and looked down at the file.
"Bro, I know you still love Anus--" I cut him off.
"Don't, Ahaan, just don't." I stopped him from completing the sentence.
"She still affects you, bro. "Admit it," he said, and my palm curled into a fist.
"Ahaan, shut up," I said, gritting my teeth.
"I am not saying anything wrong, bro. "She does affect you," he said.
"Ahaan, just shut the f**k up. "Don't you dare to utter more; otherwise, the consequences won't be in your favor," I shouted this time angrily.
"What will you do, huh? "Come on, slap me or hit me, but let me tell you one thing: you are still stuck there, but she is the one who moved on," Ahaan shouted back. Before I could reply, the telephone rang.
"Sir, there is a girl, Shravya Arya, who wants to meet you," said the receptionist.
"I don't know any girl by that name, and don't disturb me." "I am discussing files with Riyan," I growled.
"Uhh, okay," I cut the call.
"Listen, Mr., complete this file," I said to Riyan.
"We were in the middle of fighting," he said in a dude tone.
"I would rather not fight with you, Babybro," I said, and he pouted.
"Listen, I am 22 years old; don't call me baby," he pouted, laid down on the couch, and turned on the cartoon on TV.
"Ahaan, what is this? "You have to complete this file today only," I scolded him.
"I'll do it later, bro." Let me watch Ben 10 first," he said, and I threw a pen at him.
"Ahaan, be independent. "You are 22," I said, and he chuckled.
"But you called me 'baby bro,'" he said, and I groaned.
I didn't say anything more and started checking the file. Just then, I heard a knock.
"Come in," I said from inside.
I looked up, hearing the sound of heels. Who was she?
She strode towards me, glaring at me angrily while I was confused.
She pulled me up by clutching my collar while my eyes widened more.
"You bloody the asshole?" How dare you? "You freaking wasted my 2 hours," she shouted.
Oh my God!! Is she the same girl Mom and Dad chose for me? What's her name? Oops, it's Shravya Arya.
"What the dhamaka?" I heard Ahaan murmuring.
"Listen to you, mister, please kindly leave. "I need to talk to him," she said to Ahaan.
Ahaan chuckled as he got up from the couch. "Yeah, why not?" "You can speak with him as much as you want," he said to her, smiling cheekily.
"Bye, bro," and he left, winking at me.
"You, Mr. Avyaan Sehgal, you wasted my precious time," she shouted, leaving my collar with a jerk.
Ohh, assumed it's right. She was indeed a little girl.
"I took out my time and waited for you, but you know what? "You wasted my time. "Ugh, I so wanted to slam your handsome face on the wall," she said while I moved back. She was indeed dangerous.
I don't even have any shield to save myself!! What if she really slammed my face on the wall?
