Julian's pov
I watched my wife leave the compound without looking back. Fear struck my heart. ‘What have I brought upon myself?’ The same woman that couldn't do anything unless I was told. But now, she is getting more independent. She was virtually doing everything on her own.
I wondered how we got to this point in the first place. That was when I went down the memory lane. How I was treating her and what eventually caused this terrible turn.
As if that wasn't enough, the contract that I lost. I was still trying my best to get it back. And so, today, I planned to visit the company. At least, if they are canceling the contract, I should know the reason behind it. I shouldn't be left in the dark in any way.
Without hesitation, I walked back into the mansion. Only for me to meet Melissa
