Julian's mother shot a deadly glare at him. I could read the expression of shock on her face. “Why would you call the police on your wife? How are you sure she was the one that stole your money?”
Veronica, Julian's sister, interjected. “Mother. You can't side with Mia in this case. She was the only one in the room that knew my brother hid money in the safe. She was there when he was inputting his password. Mother, you know there is no one that knows the safe password of anyone in the family except the owner. So, how was the safe opened in the first place?” She explained everything to her.
