Its Sunday and Hannah remembered that she needs to see Amanda just as she promise.
But she remembered she didn't have contact number of her or even know where she lives.
"So forgetful of you Hannah" as she sweep the floor. She's hoping that she can by chance met her after finishing her chores.
True enough as soon as she was passing on the near block she met Amanda still wearing her precious smile.
"Hi there, I'm afraid we didn't have any form of communication. So you ready?"
Amanda asks
"Oh..." Hannah guess that wearing denim and white shirt is enough because she didn't even bother to ask where will they be going "Yes"
"Come on, I'm gonna show you around. We can manage just by walking. There's this ice cream shop that I used to go with someone but due to some circumstances we can't be" then Amanda stop her story.
Hannah notice it and as she tries to change the topic.
The ice cream shop is nothing fancy just a simple shop that sells a variety of ice cream flavors that have a 6 round tables to accomodate a customer that wants to hang around and to save a person whose dreading heat during summer season.
Hannah and Amanda goes to the table near the window.
"Oh by the way, that's long time ago and probably he wouldnt even recognized me" then she looks away.
"Tissue?" as Hannah tries to comfort her.
"Tissue? what for. Did you think that I will go emotional?" Then Amanda laugh as she notices that Hannah is confuse on what to do next.
"Don't worry my friend. I got you now so it's no big deal" then a girl from the counter stared at them maybe wondering what's there to laugh about when your surrounded by non sense thing.
"Enough of that. Come on, I will take you to the counter but before that let me go to the restroom"
"Oh sure. want me to go with you?" Hannah asks.
"No biggie. I will be quick"
then Amanda storms to the restroom.
As Hannah is waiting for Amanda she entertain herself on the available readers digest magazine. Patrick saw her and walk on the shop to greet her.
"Hi there" as he tries to wave his hand in front of her.
"O. Oh Hi" she response.
"Meeting someone?" He asks back.
"Yes. I'm with a friend"
"Wow, so you manage to have one then see you on Monday" as he waves to say goodbye.
After a minute Amanda shows up again.
"Sorry for the long wait. Is there anything that you would like to order? perhaps your preferred flavor?"
"Not yet. It's just that I'm amazed to this magazine and didn't even bother to check on the menu. So shall we?" as Hannah persuade Amanda to get up and go to the counter.
Hannah ordered banana split while Amanda just ordered a choco hot fudge. As they are waiting for their order Hannah shares her new found job.
"Are you having fun doing it?" Amanda asks.
"My job right now? Yes I am as a matter of fact. I am having fun even though writing is what Is have to right now" Hannah tells her.
"Writing?" as Amanda scoops her ice cream
"Oh yes. I'm in the middle of writers block right now and my job saves me from boredom and I hope to set again my mood to write about something." She answered back.
"Oh. Is there anything that I can help you with?"
"I'm so shy to share my story" Hannah shyly tells her.
"Actually it's about a girl who can't seem to find her way back home and for unknown reason she can't go back. Well to be honest shes been in my dreams for quite sometime now. Her face is a blur but she's is curled up in the dark. I can say that she is because there something on her that lights a bit of her.
She's asking for help and I didn't know how and why am I the one that she seeks. She's something familiar with I guess but I can assure because of her blurred face" Amanda was just looking at her as if she was puzzled of something.
"Is there a problem?" Amanda asks her.
"No. It's just that" Hannah have a feeling as she looks at Amanda she felt that she somewhat resemblance the girl on her dreams.
"Oh is my expression shows something you off?" -Amanda
"No. it's nothing. I guess I'm just experiencing brain freeze because of this ice cream" Hannah goofly told her.
"But I hope I can see her face clearly and be able to help her because right now the only help that I can give her is writing her story that until now I didn't even have the strength to work on to." then Hannah looks away as she is trying to look for something to ease her feeling.
"You can" Amanda whispered.
"Oh yes. I can" Hannah smiles back.
"So why don't you start with your dream?" Amanda told her.
"My dream?" Hannah confusingly asks her back.
"Yes, you can narrate how is she and what is feeling having it as a dream. Maybe she can be able to communicate with you through it" - Amanda
"Maybe a little spark of wanting to know her may help you to know and somehow let you write the story? I'm no brainer in writing a story but I guess my suggestion can help you. if there is something I can help you with tell me right away" Amanda continues.
"Sure, well to tell you honestly I was on fire right now to write something about that girl. If she was true I hope that I can help her using my writing and free her from the chains that binds her" -Hannah
"Our ice cream seems to be jealous of that girl because it is now starting to melt and the funny side is, it is not Sunny right now" Amanda jokingly says to Hannah.
"I will surely do and will try to work on that as soon as I got home" - Hannah.
As they finish their ice cream they walk passed the place where they first met and its twilight now.
"Another day has passed" as Amanda let out a deep sigh.
"Yes it is but a new beginning again will start tomorrow" -Ha nah
"Thank you Hannah for showing up" - Amanda whispered.
