10 Waltzing Dinner passed pleasantly. The food was as excellent as always and the conversation was entertaining. The Australian passengers who came on board in Fremantle are easygoing and make pleasant dinner companions. Now, we’re in the Captain’s cabin and I’m sitting in my usual place on the sofa looking out at the ocean while the Captain pours me a glass of champagne. I can’t decide what I want to do first: ask about Jane Scott or tell him about the dancing lesson. He makes the decision for me by setting my glass down on the side table and leaning over to kiss me.
