Durban, South Africa
I overslept this morning and woke up to find that we had already docked at Durban, on the East coast of South Africa. It’s unusual for me to stay in bed when there is a new harbor to see, but the Captain and I have had a few late nights and the lack of sleep had caught up with me. I spent the night in my cabin and, without Kate there to wake me up in the small hours of the morning, I had a good night’s sleep. Clara must have kept Sukey with her for her morning cuddle and story. Good old Clara. I took my turn with Sukey yesterday. Clara’s looking after her today and tomorrow, taking her to see the uShaka Marine Park where there is another aquarium for Sukey to enjoy.
