By the time I got to Jenny’s apartment, I was already typing a message to Ethan on my phone.
Ethan was my gay best friend, the one who always knew exactly what to say when things got messy. I typed fast, my fingers shaking a little.
“Ethan, you are not going to believe this. Noah has never touched me once. Not a single time. I am walking around like I am some kind of awkward date who does not know how to flirt. Three months and nothing. What do you think is wrong with him?”
He answered almost right away. His reply popped up on the screen: “Cara, baby, he is playing the other theme. Probably has a secret boyfriend on the side or something. You know how some of them are.”
I read it and immediately felt my blood boil. I called him back right then, not even waiting for his next mess
