"Wait!" I exclaimed. Flailing my arms dramaticly. Mason gave me a wonderous look.
"Before we leave we need to pre-game! Let's do some shots Maceee", I pleaded with Mason.
"We're ging to get drinks when we get there darling, but I can't turn down my Alpha. So just one shot won't hurt."
I grinned from ear to ear like a child, as I pulled two shot glasses and bottle of Crown Royal Apple from the cabinet. Pouring each glass to the rim, I passed Mason his and gripped mine between my thumb and index finger.
"Bottoms up", we both shouted as we downed the pungent liquid, that had a touch of apple. It went down quick and smooth, but the fiery sensation hit me and I made a face.
"Woo!"
Mason and I locked eyes, "Another one!" we both chanted. We took an additional three more shots, before my mother interrupted, and that's when I knew it was time for Mason and I to head out.
"Don't stop on my occasion."
"We weren't, we just thought we had enough and that we should be going now." I retorted as I gripped Mason's hand, and practically dragged him to the front door.
"I invited Daniel to join you", she shouted from her place in the kitchen.
"You did what?" I asked flabbergasted. She calmly responded, "I invited Alpha Harrington's son, Daniel to accompany you to the club."
"And what made you think you had the right inviting someone to intrude on Mason and my, night out? Because I sure as hell didn't ask you to invite anyone, so you weren't given permission."
"Arianna, when will you learn I don't have to answer to you or anyone else for that matter, plus Daniel's already here. He's outside waiting ." She said eyeing me from the edge of the kitchen. She smirked and walked away as if nothing happened. Moon Goddess knows how much that woman gets under my skin, and irritates my soul with the stunts she loves to pull.
Closing my eyes, I grit my teeth and counted to 10 in my head. I will not let her or Daniel ruin, Mason and my night. I'm only mad because she continues to push Daniel on me like it'll change my views or preception on him, when in reality I dislike him.
"We can stay in tonight if you want Ari."
"No, no I don't want this minor set back to put a damper in our plans or kill our slight buzz", I murmured, as I opened the only thing seperating Daniel from myself and mason.
His eyes were fixated on me. Watching as I leaned onto Mason, to balance myself as I went down the stairs. With every step those hungry honey golden eyes never left me, as for my heart rate. It never lessened. It was like that night at the party all over again. His tempting gaze, created puddles inside my pantises. I clentched my legs tight, hoping the closeness would stop my horniness from lingering in the air.
Licking my lips, and sucking in the crisp night air I marched myself up to Daniel and with a pointed finger, I prodded him in his firmly full chest.
"Listen hear you teenage heart throb..*hic* I'm not thrilled you're coming along with Mason and I, but I won't let your play-boy antics f**k up my night..*hic*I don't care how attractive you are.
I huffed with my arms now folded, sending a venomous glower into his honey pot filled eyes, that encompassed me almost physicaly with a lustful warmth.
"Is that all? Look if this is about me not calling you back, I'm sorry Ari. I've...", "Save that shitty excuse Daniel, because I don't deserve that. Just stay out of our way tonight."
Daniel gently gripped my hand before I was able to retreat into the comfort of Mason.
"I really do mean it Ari, even if you don't believe me. I want us to have a good night, nothing else."
I peered up at him in almost a dreamy look, I gave him the satisfation of me hearing him out but I will not give him the satisfaction of a response. Taking back my hand, I nestled myself into Mason's side as he opened the car door for me.
The ride was what you'd expect it to be. Daniel was forced to sit up front with my personal driver occupying his time with his phone, while Mason and I had our, own mini party in the back.
"What's the deal with this Censor club? I've heard stories, but you know you can't take everything literal."
A sly and mischivious smile decorated Mason's face, as he gave a short titter. "Rumor has it, that Censor doesn't allow phones." He said in a secretive tone.
"Is that all?" I asked a little underwhelmed.
Rolling his eyes at me he continued explaining, "Well, before I was rudely interrupted. The kicker is that Censor makes all its patrons take this 'Forget Me Not' potion or what some would call a drug. What the drug does, on the contrary to the name, it doesn't allow people to remember face or names, so whatever happens in there literally stays in there."
Now it was my turn to roll my eyes, there is no way in hell that this would be legal.
"Stop playing with me Mace, because I find that really hard to believe." I came out straightforwardly. Mason responded with a shrug of his shoulds, and a "believe what you want Ari."
Before I could get another word I felt the car come to a soft stop, and my driver anouncing the 'we made it to our destination'. We piled out the car and stood in front of an ominous building. It stood three stories high, blacked out windows, moss growing every-which way it desired, and to seal the deal the building itself was a brick structure that was slightly in ruins.
I would be lying if I said I wasn't skeptical, the outside apperance was enough to sway my judgement. But to my astonishment there was a line that wrapped down the side of the building, and the security wasn't anything less than superb.
Five men clad in black guarded the door, exstensively searching clothes, handbags, and confiscating phones or anything that went against their policy.
I thought Mason was exagerating when he said that they didn't allow phones inside, but I can see that it was in fact true. So does that mean the other rumor is true? But where would they adminster the drug?
Maybe inside, beyond the first entrance, because I see nothing from out here.
I made a motion to get in line when Mason, gripped my hand, and guided me in the direction of the front of the line. Daniel laging behind.
"Mase, you're skipping the line.", I whispered while I kept my sight on the ground. Avoiding all the incensed looks.
"I called ahaead Ari, stop being a worry wart and get ready to have the time of your life."
We approached the front, the security guards eyes darted from Mason, to Daniel, and lastly landed on my skittish frame. His gaze was menacing, and made me feel uncomfortable.
"I didn't think she'd come with you Mason."
"Well you tend to not belive anything I tell you, but that doesn't matter. So are you going to let us in or what?"
The man didn't say another word, but lift the thick red rope, to allow us access.
All three of us stuck close to one another as another man patted us down as well as confiscated our phones. All the while, as a tall yet slinder woman stamped us on the hand.
A sickly smile grew on her face as she chirped, "have fun". All of a sudden it was all so fast. As if time sped up then came to an abrupt halt. From gaining entry, to being patted down, to random people surrounding us that none of us noticed that we were being speparted within the chaotic mess.
I couldn't see an inch infront of myself, hell it was almost like I was in a blacked-out haze, when suddenly a cold and clamy hand touched my shoulder.
