"Live Like You're Dying," Karleighanna's grip around her sword tightened, knuckles turning white, it was still in the sheath but it didn't matter, the familiar warmth of the hilt steeled her nerves. A ripple went down the line of the army as they saw it ride over the hill, like an endless river of shadow. The banner of the fallen stood proudly out in striking contrast against the blue summer’s sky. Karleighanna’s horse began to fidget under her, and she could feel its heart racing along with her own. Karleighanna heard a loud battle cry to her right and looked over to Tristan. His long white wings stood unfurled proudly above his head as he and his steed charged towards his old allies. For a split second everyone watched him… Then with swords raised followed him into battle. Karleighanna had wanted to stay behind and fight from above but the moment the army charged she was caught up in the angry chaos. She whipped her sword out and screamed her battle cry! No one could forget the sound as the two armies met; it was sickening, the grinding of bones as the two front lines collided and the anguished screams as spears tore through internal organs. It was at that point all thought was lost to the age old need to live. Karleighanna's sword danced through the air as she looped off heads and limbs and the enchanted blade tore through armor. It was almost as if only mere seconds had passed before an arrow ripped through her chest.
