THE DEATH OF ALEXA

After conquering the babarians and setting castle rock free, king Derek was keen on revealing Alexa's magical side. He hate those with magic especially when his wife died through the use of magic. So he sought evilly to prove Alexa guilty of the use of magic In order to execute her, he then invited her and Alex over for a hunting game, Alexa actually did not want to come but after being persuaded by Alex she followed suit.
Little did she know what was at stake for her or better still what awaited her in castle rock, she also went because her mother actually appeared to her in a dream asking her to go to castle rock that there she would undergo trial but she would prevail through adversaries.
King Derek went on the hunt with Alex, Alexa, and Eric . His main motive was revealing the fact that Alexa had magic, Alexa rode with her brother, although she felt something off but couldn't just point it out.
Just as they began the hunt, they were asked to kill a boar, the king purposely shot at the boar making it charge towards Alex and Alexa, Alexa pushed Alex aside and the boar ran over her injuring her.
Everyone ran towards Alexa to save her, she was bruised and some of her bones have shifted or have broken. They rushed her to Arnold's place for treatment, Alexa was laid on Richard's bed, Arnold gave her a drug to relieve the pain then she slept off. Just as she slept, she had a dream about her death. Her mother then appeared to her.
"Alexa, it's time to show the world who you really are, it's time to let go and face who you really are " her mother said.
" but if king Derek finds out, he'll kill me " Danielle replied.
" The time has come for you to be revealed, the world needs you now " her mother replied.
" But I can't even control my power, I almost killed our knights out of rage. " Danielle said.
" Then you were weak, but now you are strong " her mother said. " A dragon queen must die to be reborn " she continued then vanished as Alexa woke up from her slumber.
" Can I have the courage to face real death ? " Alexa thought to herself after waking up. She then saw Richard who slept on the floor beside the bed side, she poked him till he woke up yawning.
" my princess, how are you feeling now ?, should I call Arnold ?. " Richard asked.
" no I'm fine, just wanted to tell you something important " Alexa replied.
" what's that my princess ?" Richard asked.
" no matter what happens to me , you promise not to try to save me " she said.
" why? " he Asked
" just promise me " Alexa pleaded.
" promise " Richard agreed.
They chatted all through the night till dawn, just as they were about to take a nap, Arnold came in saw that Alexa was already awake, he then scolded Richard for not coming to inform him, but Alexa said that she asked him not to.
Arnold has already prepared breakfast for them, he thought that Alexa wouldn't eat being of a royal status, but she surprised him as she sat down and consumed the food also thanking Arnold for his hospitality.
It was time to take a bold step, Alexa headed to room in the castle, just as she was going in, king Derek ordered his trusted knights to follow her and watch her closely. Alexa went to her room and laid down for a while in order for her to process things. Not quite long, her brother Alex came into her room, she hugged him like never before. Alex being surprised at the unusual hug asked what was going on. Just as the were about conversing, the king requested an audience with Alexa upon the arrival of the witch hunter whom he called to reveal Alexa's true identity.
Alexa knew it was time for her to die, but she still went knowing that it was her destiny to die for humanity just as it has been foretold. On getting there, the witch hunter questioned and tested her but he found no proof that she had magic yet alone being a witch. Arnold tried to persuade the king to let go because there was nothing wrong with Alexa and that she's the daughter of his best friend, but king Derek being adamant and stubborn ignored his words. The witch hunter then suggested that the only way is to torture her brother for her to be able to confess. Alex was tortured and Alexa was held back, she resisted until the witch hunter placed a knife on his shoulder, she then lit up and broke her bracelet, she pushed the witch hunter with her power then she fell and was taken. King Derek ordered her to be tied on the stake and burnt alive. King Damian hearing what happened marched to castle rock but before he could get there Alexa was on the stake burning.
" put out the fire, " he ordered his men. But before they could put it out, Alexa had already burnt and was weak , she slowly passed away in her father's arms as she spoke her final words.
" father blame no one, it was meant to be" Alexa said as she gave up, immediately she died, she turned into dust and withered into the air.
